anyone else having trouble salvaging whites?

there is a setting with a drop down arrow that allows to pick up crafting mats from legendary - common.

unfortunately that means you must pick up all yellows, blues and everything in between. Not a huge deal since you can vendor them.

No, I have it set to salvage white drops, like weapons and armor, as I need the white crafting materials. The bot keeps selling them, and not salvaging
 
NO NO it is NOT a salv setting it is a setting to PICK UP Crafting mats....

set it to common +

whatever the lowest setting is it will pick up that plus everything above it so if it says rare or magic it will not pick up whites, it must say common

You are not reading very well. In order to SELL the whites, it means that I have already picked them up. I pick up white crafting materials just fine, my bot is not salvaging white weapons/armor. You know, white helms, swords, etc. Those are being sold while it is set to salvage them.

Are you following me now?
 
You need to click the drop down for MISC under items and change it to common or it will salvage your whites, then SELL. This is why you never have any! :P

What are you talking about? Change what to common? I have it set to pick up common and salvage common. It's not salvaging. This is new since the last trinity or so.

Why is this so hard to grasp?
