Anyone botting with Demon Hunters?

Inferno MP0, MP1, maybe higher :) i don't wanna know about NM and Hell...
 
Ferno mp0for a bit. But it got too costly to farm it efficiently with little deaths

what i found was that, their main movement, vault, uses up most of their damaging attacks, where as monk, their dex counterpart, has thunderclap which requires no spirit, thus allowing for them to continuously move fast, while attacking.
I also found that with no one-with-everything-like ability, they are extremely squishy, which is why they get extremely costly because you dont look for cold or fire res, you HAVE to get all res.

IF
you somehow spent XXXmillion on a dh, i think it would easily outfarm other classes, because it should be able to one hit everything from a distance with huge AOE multishot and be able to use a lot more disc to vault and go quickly.
BUT
imo, everything else except wizard is a better choice because of the input/output ratios

what about 50m budget gear? Not enough for DH probably, compared to other classes?
 
Just put together 3 DHs @ about 60m a piece and they are working great. mp0 ofc but now I am moving to monks
 
Yeah I have been testing every class the last few days. Currently leveling a DH. See potential at times and still working on a good build. But I think you need 150K dps for this DH to be any good. Definitely the fastest class though. Running this build

You have to gear properly for Strafe but it works pretty well. I am at 100K dps and it doesn't feel no were enough. My WD on the hand has impressed me greatly. At paragon level 42 and is yet to die.

I've got 3 DH doing MP0, 30M EXP/H, 400kGPH.

I spent about 20M each.

Build is Ball Lightning, Boar companion, Caltrops/Bait the trap, Gloom, Prep, FoK.

I have kiting turned OFF. Spank and tank inside the caltrops with 100% gloom uptime.

I'm using 4pc Nats for the Disc bonus, but if you get +Disc on other gear, its not necessary. Using Manticore/Dead Mans Legacy. Elementary arrow damage bonus is great. You can also get a cheap SoJ with elemental arrow bonus. I've got 100k sheet dps, 38k HP, 400 All Res (with boar).

Other key is obviously movement speed. Nats boots + Lacuni Prowlers.

For real... all this gear is so cheap. I just tried to get vit/all res on as much as I could, but even low rolls add up to enough for mp0.
 
Btw... I have 0 life on hit/LS on gear. The 15% LS from Gloom is MORE than enough to tank anything when you are actively dealing damage. This was my main epiphany... you NEED to turn off kiting.

You see I also dont have a hatred generator... hatred regen from Nat's chest and Dead Mans Legacy is more than enough, hence I'm not running with the bat. I really probably don't even need the Boar, but I haven't experimented with any other skills in that slot yet.

You could do a strafe build, but you will need a LOT more gold for gear.

I have a DH botting frequently, almost parangon 100. I actually have around 300k dps, lot of stuff, and I'm doing around 40mio xp /h and 500k golds. I am using the Act 3 Inferno by rrrix profile on MP1. One or two deaths / hours.

It was hard until I reached 150/200k dps, I had to play with the templar and he has been very useful ! Now I can afford playing with the scoundrel, whom I gave some good stuff.

I play with Smoke screen (Breathe deep), Rain of vengeance (Dark cloud), Shadow power (Blood moon) and the ferrets for looting golds :p For passives I have Archery (with a 2H crossbow), Steady aim and Hot pursuit.

hell mp10 a3 110.000 dps unbuffed

but gear costs much enough
just looking for some legendaries
12 mil exp and near 300.000 ghp
but will rise - only 9 paragon
 
I forgot to say, my xp/h may be strong but I owe it to my +31 percents xp gem and my hellfire ring. +166% xp with NV5.
 
I bot with 1 DemonHunter and use it to farm inferno MP0 and MP1 no problem. In my experience, they have less efficiency for the upgrade cost when compared to Barbarians. However, the real bread and butter is using a DemonHunter for leveling new bots. Here's a quick leveling guide to follow to use a DH and level new accounts in less than 4 hours easy!
