Actually, there is just about no reason to farm to anything but act 3 now given that i63 legendaries only drop in act3/4 (Act 4 is too short to farm), some of those legendaries are basically "best-in-slot", and command a very considerable price tag. No disrespect to the Belp team, but act 3 WAS hard with bots, until Giles made his combat plugin (it is by far superior to the "official" combat routine). To put it bluntly... my bots literally went from act 2 to act 3 with just a change of combat routine. So it ain't really hard to get a bot in act 3
I'm going to be very objective here (for the greater good?) Given that Giles basically outdid what the Belp team did in a week or so, wouldn't it be better to redirect focus by adding more manpower towards fixing random dungeons instead of trying "tweak" the default combat routine so it matches up to Gile's combat plugin? There is no sense trying to maintain your "dignity" or whatsoever it's called nowadays, when it doesn't help the end-users. For me and a lot of other users I presume, I don't think we're ever going back to the default combat routine.
I might be wrong on this, but surely, coding random dungeons for an existing bot would be a meagre task compared to developing an entirely new game from scratch? That just about sums up my opinion on the epic fish story and your priority allocation.
What's done is done anyway, nothing much we can do but to (im)patiently wait for you guys to fix it, and perhaps give a prod or two when the donkey's going too slow
