Hi!

several weeks ago i think someone here mentioned that there are possiblities to lower cpu load with some tools.
can't find his posting, maybe it was just b**llsh**t, i don't know... :)
he posted that there are "cpu tools for gaming" that can help, but i dont remember exactly... google wasn't my friend....

i ran 5 bots on my amd6core without any troubles a few months ago, but in the last time the performance has dropped a bit which results in longer load time for browsing/videos, bit of stuttering while working on the pc (bots in background) and such things. I assume latest DB builds need a bit more CPU...

Are there any steps that can help?
Using YAR, D3 prefs, enough RAM and enough GPU power, no overheat.

greetings

do you use customized D3Prefs.txt? it helps a lot to reduce CPU load.

also wondering the same thing,

could someone give me a program and how to install it? right now with 1 game and DB my cpu is at 50%

There is no program to do a "cpu magic", but you can:
1)change video settings and fps in D3Prefs (search on this forum)
2)set TPS < 10 and cache refresh rate > 100 in trinity settings. (you can experiment here)
And you can optimize windows, if you know how to do this (if don't know - google it. But it isn't very easy). And I think programs like "cpu tools for gaming" useless without base knowledge.

get CCleaner and clean some shit off your comp. then download
advanced system care - smart RAM
some people use - Game Booster.

also can use d3prefs to reduce your required colors and graphics card strain.
d3prefs is easily found on a ton of websites

thanks.
i already use decent D3prefs.
Just wanted to check if tools like "game booster" or "smart ram" are nice
or just stuff that maybe makes it worse^^

try this in Trinity Advanced options:

Set TPS to 7 or 8
Set Cache Refresh Rate to 200 or 300

That smart ram stuff didn't change my overall ram usage despite taskmanager showing d3 using much less than usual... later today i'll have my new rig up with 32gigs of ram anyhow :)

Overclock your CPU :)
never done overclocking...
to be honest, i don't want to break my system ;) and i don't wanna pay someone to do it for me... i think it would be better i buy a new i7 instead

If you are going to buy an i7 you should defenetly overclock it :)
IMO its easyer to do with an i7. Also, when you buy a new motherboard with your i7 there most likely is a overclock tool in the BIOS were you can do an auto overclock.
This overclock will not really push the limits but will give you some more power ^^
