any real benifit to running season 5

So i was just reading some stuff on diablo fans about the new patch and seasons, and saw that there are no more season only items. So if you are not one of those die hard ladder climbers and dont care about being number 1 is there any benefit to running the season 5. Just curious if i missed something in my reading. Thanks

We’re adding an additional gold-purchasable stash tab for all players with the Reaper of Souls expansion. If you’re concerned that’s not enough, don’t worry—we’re also adding a way for players to earn additional Stash tabs, up to a maximum of 10, through our Season Journey feature.

Every Non Season player gets 1 gold bought stash tab but if you finish the season achievements you get a total of 5 stash tabs or 4 extra and a grand total of 10.

This is not rocket science guys..Just read the PTR notes.

If that is true, I can run season 5, then go back to non-season

Only 1 tab per season! Season 5, one tab via gold and one via playing till the conqueror achievement in season journey. Season 6, another tab playing. Season 7, another tab playing... And so until 10 tabs, it's NOT that you get 10 tabs on this season 5.

2.4 gives you 1 free tab (bringing you to 6), and you can earn another in season 5 after reaching the second last season journey, bringing you to 7 tabs

Season 6 you will be able to earn another, to 8 tabs
Season 7, 9 tabs

Seasons are expected to last 3 months going forward, so you will be able to have 10 tabs in around January 2017.

thanks everyone for simplifying all this so i guess i run seasons long enough to get the tabs and then just go to normal again, cause i was never a ladder runner i just liked the extra items u could get.
