There’s no proof that they botted for an hour though until then I cannot really provide details on that, however maybe they were banned by mistake it’s uncertain to say for sure without details, with ban waves even those innocent are sometimes banned.
 
No reason for you to believe me but i had 4 accounts banned runnin act 3 inferno mp1. then 1 account running private profile created on the 17th let it run for 1 hour maybe 1 1/2, tried to log in on the 18th after work and it was banned. Think what you think do what you want, i'm just saying in my opinion there are too many variables and different instances of peoples botting methods to believe something hasn't been detected.
 
It's funny that people think that the profile matters, private or not. There is enough happening in a single town run to prove you're a bot, regardless of profile.

Our botting actions are in no way concealed. We are blatantly obvious, every one of us. Bans are and will only be a matter of time.
 
your picture is stupid therefore your post is stupid. Of course bans are only a matter of time, but what changed from being able to bot for 2 months 24/7 no problems to not being able to bot for 1 - 2 hours before getting hit?
 
It’s true what he said, you’re still going in and out of down like a yo-yo and that is quite obvious private profile or not.

And most legit players don’t really farm, and if they do they complete the quests heading to where they want to farm

Blizzard is getting smarter every day, it’s common sense once they learn something they’ll act on it

Blizzard wanting to make an official forum statement about wiping out a bunch of botters so their legit players think they care?

Blizzard wanting to boost end of year sales of box copies?

This ban wave is really normal shit. I don't know why the sudden surprise from everyone.

There is enough happening in one trip to a vendor to unload inventory and repair gear to flag you as a bot.
 
Last thing I saw a dev write was "Less than 1 percent of DB users have reported a ban". I guess it's enough to close down the authservers and update DB? huh.

They've been looking at it since last week when the first half of the ban wave hit ;). 400ish people banned in the initial wave last week 12/12/12
 
Also I think blizzard did this now to push there wow sales.
D3 no monthly fee, wow monthly fee.
Right after I got my ban email they sent me a "get wow now on sale"
And Im sure few are going back to wow.
Just a big plan to get us back to wow.

They would make more end of quarter revenues through Diablo III sales. Selling 1 copy of diablo 3 would do more for their end-of-year bottom line right now than purchasing that panda crap =P.
