Hello ####,
The timing may have been workable, however there is another issue on this account that caused it not to be eligible for the Annual Pass.
After a thorough investigation, we have found the World of Warcraft account ###### to have participated in the fraudulent sale or purchasing of Recruit-A-Friend accounts and/or benefits in April of 2011. With that, I do see that the time was never used and there was no evidence on the account that you were compromised at the time. Although your RAF friend was indeed a hacker, we're going to treat this as an Education since you didn't use the time. This time cannot be reimbursed as the hacker used a fraudulent method of payment to upgrade the account for that free time. If you see anyone in game offer to have you link up with them in RAF for in game gold (to get the free month or the mount), report them immediately by right clicking their name and select "report as spam". Same for if anyone says they can give you game time for gold or anything else that you cannot purchase in game with gold. These are the same people who compromise accounts.
All that being said, I am pleased to let you know that we're changing your eligibility on the account for the Annual Pass. You'll be able to sign up if you wish. If you would rather play the other game instead, that is up to you.
We have compiled a detailed Frequently Asked Questions list that will answer any questions you may have about the promotion at

As a reminder, if you sign up for the Annual Pass, you will not be able to cancel it and likewise, you will need to keep game time on your WoW Account for a full 12 months from the date of sign up.
