Announcement regarding recent banwave

Why does my account say "Time expired on 17 dec" in stead of banned on the website?
It allows me to redeem a pre payed card or even pay by visa.

it says nowhere it's banned? am I Lucky or..?
 
I like you, I think it is to have access to the transferred character 's story still make this a little money ban on people , right?

same here, it says active but they removed the payment of the licence. But when u try to renew the subscription you´ll fail.
It even doesnt say "Banned" on Battle net launcher but when i start the licence a ingame notification comes up account suspended etc..

sorry but your not lucky..

Honorbuddy was recently hit with another banwave.


We have spent the last two days trying to figure out how Honorbuddy was detected.
After the May banwave the Tripwire service was made a lot more aggressive to catch
any detection methods that it might have missed. However, having reviewed the server
logs, it was discovered that Tripwire service was not running properly after an update
that took place about a month ago which nullified all the new heuristics.


We do NOT know for sure what caused the banwave, but we strongly believe the tripwire
service would have been able to catch the detection that took place if it was working
properly.


Words cannot express how sorry we are for this mistake, but we are truly sorry. We
take your account security very seriously and strive to do everything possible so
that this exact situation does not occur.


We now plan for the service to run for a while with these checks configured correctly
and see what it shows. In the meantime we will update you when we are ready to re-open
auth and to do a test release. Please be aware that this release will still be considered
'unsafe' to use and, like always, should not be used on accounts you cannot afford to lose.


Again, we sincerely apologize for this massive mistake.

yeah that would be great some sort of discount on cd keys, I will buy more wod accounts if a sale happens on hb.
 
Discount my ass you people are just terrible everyone makes mistakes you knew the risk from the start deal with it
 
To be quite honest i am very happy the route you guys took on this. It takes a lot of courage to admit an error on your part in fear of losing subscriptions. I think every lesson learned is a good one. You guys saw your error and I'm confident that same mistake will not be made again.

Hm good time to wait till Legion and start from scratch with a new acc on same b-net. I raped steam after my 6 month ban in May and still done with WoD. Too much games to play. Don´t know if I come back. WoW is really desocialized for a MMO. Perhabs in a botter guild haha.
 
The Tripwire excuse is, I'm sorry to say, a bit strange. Considering an account I had not botted on for 2> weeks got banned too.

this^ made an account to test something with the 5usd for a day (mostly used to transfer money/try ah bot) didnt use it for the remaining 29days, got banned, seems fishy indeed
