Ill whine, Dear Honorbuddy, please invest in a CDN. Cloudflare will give you one for free. This means can download the bot at faster than 10kbs :P Okay, whine over. cant wait to get playing. Ive been using an alternative bot in the interm and it sucks donkey balls next to honorbuddy.
 
Grade school math op. Honorbuddy users make up about 5% of wows total population. That's assuming every single person who uses it didn't play due to it being down. I know I've been on all along.

but do you know the other percentage of users that use other bots then just HB. no you don't, and i doubt that 5% is even accurate, i just know you could tell the update just didnt affect HB users, considering a shit ton of people were not on at all last night from when it hit. BG's were empty. Farming spots were empty etc..

Well lets see, just taking a wild guess but I think HB uses SVN.... And when a new update comes out and 1000's of people are pinging the server for a download shit tends to slow down. Who knows though, I always the thought the internet was a mythical beast that let me check emails and surf porn.

I actually host many high volume sites. This is why people of the internet developed a CDN (content delivery network).... for exactly this reason...so your mythical creature porn can be delivered more quickly.
