An Idea about DB - global rebuild/new plugin

Hmmm now that i think of it, its a freaking great ideea! Making the bot work like that would be a pain in the ass for blizz to detect!! VS worked like this and it was awesome, it never got stuck in any dungeons/zone. Remaking the bot to work on fog of war logic instead of coordonates would be a really really really big upgrade for the bot. And as we have seen VS has done it so its doable! It may take a long time to make but its surely worth it.

I remember when i used VS (DB wasnt out) all other bots got banned but VS stood up with no bans! I still had the account i used with VS until 18th of December :p

If devs think its possible and worth it, id say go for it!!

This already exists. "unsafeRandomDistance" - Get a random distance 0-360 degrees within the "max random distance" specified.

I do not see DB dropping the current nav server. They use a Traveling Salesman algo for random explorer currently.

Ye this does sound like a simple & good idea.

The thing with DB at the moment is that plugins is used for/as work arounds. It has been working for a while, though in reality this is not acceptable if we talk about a product that you pay for. At the moment random people needs to create "work around" profiles for DB to work good with the game, this should not be intended.

I am absolutely positive for a re-making of the DB core functions.

If we would discuss this from a business view:

Example: A customer contacts an IT technician claiming that he/she got an issue with a program. The IT technician cannot solve the issue & needs to report it to the 2nd line support, then the technician will if possible provide a work around until the main issue has been resolved.

Though I do have my trust in the DB developers, they are surely doing a great job!
 
i need some opinions from DB devs
is this idea real? or they wont to do it bcose of whole remake?
 
I love your ideas, but you guys make your plan without the devs. I think they pretty much give a shit about how secure the bot is when it's still possible to make profit for the users, and therefor $$$x10 for devs (which they deserve, since this is advanced programming!).
 
So you guys all didn't get banned because db is 99% safe or what are you talking about?
Both banwaves got most of us hit, didn't it or am I just too dumb to bot ?

I don't really get what you're saying mate, it's always unsafe to bot, isn't it?
 
amd i thnk DB Developers must did the title of the db's process changable at least
right?
 
i think the one problem with my idea is the death and way to the place of it. but i think it can resolved without coordinates
