an angry player whispered me

just download badboy and put the badboy lvl on 150 u wont recieve any whisper anymore in chat settings uncheck players from another servers that whisper you so you wont see that also

How does that help???

Receiving a whisper is a GOOD THING... it means you have the opportunity to react.

OP: no one knows the (1) time between being reported and investigated, nor do we know (2) the time an investigation takes to result in an action sanctioned, nor (3) the time between an action being sanctioned to that action being enforced.

Personally I'd make another license on that Bnet and carry on botting there. It's simply not worth botting under the shadow of doubt, and a separate License will (in my experience) be uneffected by the Report you just received. You'll never know if your reported License (a) been investigated or (b) will be investigated in a few days or in a few weeks / months time.

That said, if it's your first offence then maybe you'll get away with a 72hr suspension and not a longer one like 6 months.

In my experience, if you care about the account/want to keep in the game then setup a new License and carry on there.

BUT do not block whispers... every person that whispers you are doing you a favour!

Blocking whispers or not doesn't change anything though.
Sure, you might get away with a report from one player, but if you keep botting, that report will come eventually.

The thing is easy. If you get report and they look into your account you get bannned doesnt matter what you do.

I think savest is to do what you always do, like a normal player.

I always like to resond to players, or write hi in dungeons or in lfr..

I've been botting for 4 years. I get angry whispers all the time, but I've only ever been banned during a mass detection event. Reports seem pretty useless in my experience, unless you rack up a shitload of them.

i think the some degree blizzard wants to retain subs as they are at a all time low

Just one report wont lead to anything. You most likely need to accumulate a few before they actually investigate.
