First... Tom's Hardware is extremely credible, unbias and been around for years - You're showing your credibility on this topic.

Second, Tom's Hardware is merely compiling the benchmarks, if you knew anything about the site you'd know that you can select which programs you want the benchmark from, everything from specific game FPS, to 7zip, to 3DMark Vantage. I used 3Dmark, which again any overclocker would know IS a BENCHMARK by definition... they exist for the sole reason of comparing machines and giving scores.

Door is that way ====>

Usually people try to hide their fanboyism, but I see that is not the case here.

I dont try to hide my fanboyism. AMD ALL THE WAY!

AMD is good, but now that intel finally decided to price competitively I would have to say that intel would be the smarter choice is mid-high end PCs

Nobody can beat AMD when it comes to hobo builds

You're right, I'm the fanboy for showing statistics and benchmarks.

You're the cool kid for insisting that AMD is bettah! Despite having zero knowledge on the topic.

Can't we all just get along? He stated his opinion and then some numbers to back it up now leave him alone. (Talking about bishop in case of confusion). If he thinks intel is better and wants to purchase intel he has every right and if hes a intel fanboy join the club. There's tons of intel fanboys out there. Leave the guy alone.

Haha, thanks for that Shane, but I'm holding my own bro.

Polasjaas seems to be just trying to get his post count up...

One second he says:

i7 950, nuff said

Then he says:

Lol tom's hardware. If you're gonna post benchmarks can you atleast post a credible source?

I lol'd

He can go back to his Alienware computer.

If you knew anything about computers, you would know that the prices of intel processors have dropped quite a bit. Seeing how you have some prebuilt computer that is all riced up, I don't expect you to know shit about computers.

Nuff said.

First... what the hell does Intel's prices falling have to do with ANYTHING? I showed benchmarks of Intel blowing AMD out of the water, I'm sorry you're so butthurt.

Second... you're the one that's demonstrated no computer knowledge. I built my computer like all my other computers. Including using a SSD (not that you know what that is) for my main drive and using my previous raptor as a slave. I'm at the top 4% performance compared to similar specced machines.

You're still rocking Vista 32bit on your main machine with 12gigs of RAM (Wooosh for Polasjaas, but everyone else is laughing). You're cool bro, but until you actually bring some insight to the table you're a joke.

You're clearly here just to argue, earlier on in the topic you were pro Intel. "Intel i7 950 Nuff Said" but now you're just arguing to be a dick and looking like a fool in the process.

Wait... how can you use 12 gbs of ram on a 32 bit os? I call bullshit. Isn't the maximum vista 32 will read is 4gbs?

I see, well back on topic i'm surprised nobody loled or flamed me for comparing AMD to celerons. Hell, an old k6 can do better than a celeron. Complete shit, avoid.

I hate Celereons, I couldn't agree more with you. Like I said, my first computer build was with an AMD and it was an incredible CPU. I just don't think they're on the same level anymore, but they once were.

yeah, they started getting slower around the time intel came out with ddr3. Well, AMD is 20 votes behind it seems like intel won by a landslide. Even "I like cookiez" is only 5 votes behind. lol

I got following CPU's

Q6600
Q9550
I7 920
I7 920
AMD Six Core (newest) and atm i would never buy the Six Core again.

My I7's can run even more than the Six Core (overclocked to 3.4 GHZ, I7 is normal clocked 2,67 GHZ)

Wow, you go through a lot of CPUs.

I went from my Q6600, to my i7 930.

But I loved my old A7N8X Delux Asus Mobo and AMD CPU - But until (If) they catch back up, I will stay away.
