So I've recently started botting. When I started botting I tried several different bot programs (including a Russian one) and found Honorbuddy to be the best (or so it seemed). But now that I've started using Honorbuddy more and more I've found a lot of problems and frustrations. I figured when I paid money for the bot that I'd get a pretty great program. But GB2 is broken right now (for me at least.) and archaeologybuddy has been giving me plenty of problems as well.
So all I'm asking is all are these problems because of MoP? I understand coding problems and everything (can't wait to write my first cc) so I can see why these problems would come from MoP but how was HB before MoP was released?

p.s. If you're going to ask for a log then save your time. I don't log every single error I ever see. Thank you.

so first let me say thank you for choosing honorbuddy, and im sorry your having so many issues right now, much like you a lot of people have started coming back or trying our product for the first time causing us to have a lot of server problems, and we are working hard to resolve those issues, and once they are resolved, gatherbuddy2 and archaeologybuddy as well as everything else should be back up and running 100%.

now to your question, where all the problems caused by MoP? yes and no, every expansion that comes out, basically changes everything, as far as we basically have to rewrite the bot for the new client, and unlike other bots since we have a lot of features and we are such closely tied into the client, theres a lot of code that needed to be gone though and updated and debugged. there after we got everything ironed out (for the most part) we started having server issues due to increased load and we've been working to resolve those issues, by not only upgrading our servers (we have some pretty kickass servers) but also by upgrading the backend of our server side software to give better load balancing and scaling to prevent issues like this from happening in the future.

all we can do is try, and i know for a fact everyone is giving 120%. no one likes that we're having issues and we are working to resolve them.
and again if your having issues, i apologize for the problems your currently experiencing. (goes for everyone, not just the guy i quoted)

Thanks. I guess I just gotta be more patient and wait for everything to be worked out. I really wasn't asking for support though. Your reply and help is mucho appreciated but I really was looking for community feedback on your program. So I don't think this should be support, or at least didn't mean for it to be support. But again, thank you for your response.

its cool, once you get into the programming stuff, you have soo many options, since honorbuddy has access to everything that the wow developers have access to, if your into programming you can get the bot to do pretty much anything.

Awesome that sounds amazing. I'm just now coming back to WoW and there has been so many changes that re-learning how to play WoW has been difficult let alone how to write my own CC lol I'm looking forward to it though, and does HB gain access to WoW developer commands just through memory manipulation?

we're able to inject into the client, so if you wanted to run protected lua, you could. its very nice
