Altitude

Ok so I have tried over 50 different altitude settings including feet and meters trying to get this to work. but with all the attempts the bot just walks around and doesn't loot any pokestops or catch any pokemon.
Can someone please shed some light on this? Or publish a short how to.

P.S. i'm trying to bot in salt lake city utah if you know the correct setting please let me know.

Google will give you the attitude of specific places.

Really.... When I use Google it says 4226 feet or 1288 meters. Neither one works...

That site says 1311 Meters for the location i want. It still didnt work just sits "idle" without any pokestops or pokemon popping up. if i put 0-1000 pokemon and pokestops popup but it wont use any or catch any.

The setting is under set coordinates

I am in the same situation, my guy sits IDLE, doesn't catch anything, and no pokestops or gyms appear on the map, would love a solution.

had a similar issue w/ Nashville TN. a little scare thinking i was banned again. drove home, reopened app in my home city, and all was well again.

what is the location you are trying to bot? I got no problems with any of my altitude settings. I have Pier 39 at 6.2145

Altitude settings

Mine is set to -1568.96, i dont know what measurement this is in, but it is alarming. If Niantic sees this consistent strange altitude, than its going to be certain ban. I have read threads where people changed altitude settings and the bot wouldn't work.

Ideally, the bot should do this automatically as it changes location. Hopefully, this is being looked at by dev team.

So im trying Los Angeles because I cant get it to work in slc utah still. In La though i can get it to walk around and do poke stops but it still wont catch pokemon it doesnt even try so its not the soft ban where they run away.
