AltarBoy v1.0 - Priest CC (Shadow)

can someone post their recount and item level i cant decide if I want to play my spriest or lock
Spriest. Locks are UP nowadays.

It's a matter of preference, in my opinion. Different classes will put up different numbers in different fights due to different mechanics. Comparing Recount numbers is an exercise in futility.

My Afflock is significantly less geared than my Shadow Priest (a good 10-12 iLevel average behind), yet puts up better numbers on a single target dummy. However, my Shadow Priest wrecks it in actual encounters.

If you are absolutely insistent on comparing the two on pure output, I suggest you check out the following, keeping in mind that the samples taken are typically represent talented players in optimal or near optimal gear:

This useful while leveling? I see what it is recommended for but does it work well over Singular while leveling?

Hasn't been tested with leveling yet. Most likely not as good, since I would assume survivability was not a major concern in this CC when compared to Singular, or Fpsware priest.
If you'd like you could test it out leveling, see how it does :)
 
For some reasons after the bot have casted mind sear it got truble swapping targets back to the mobs instead of targeting the party member.?
also - why arent mind sear ment to be used on the tank, and not the rouge or other melee DPS'ers?
 
i was using fpsware priest and the stock cs for priests with no problems. but when i installed this one, my priest doesnt even attack. it just runs to the mob and stands there. even when i use IB.. any help?
 
Would it be possible, to add an option for unabeling my char to use mind spike? I see it as a waste of mana. atleast when it puts dots up on the target first.(This is for solo tho)

If you would read, this CC is designed for Lazyraider; There is no movement defined in the CC.
 
The CC doesn't show with the CC's I have so I can't choose it :S

Edit: Updating HB fixed the problem :)

Edit2: Loving this CC it's so great, the only problem that I see as a problem in a dungeon with more than 3 mobs, the CC keeps targeting one by one and sometimes it misses to apply dots and while doing that it keeps targeting the group members.

In AoE situations like you've stated, CC changes target to multi-dot them.
After multi-dot, CC changes to the tank to cast mind sear(This is where you see CC targeting group member).

It seems like it's working correctly :)
 
Little side question: Does this not work on dummys?
Just wondering, because if its not wirking in instances, i'm totally screwed! I cannot play a priest by hand for gods sake :D

looks like it doesn't work for me.

Attach full log. Nobody has tried leveling from such a low level with this before. Would be nice to get it working with it.
 
Hmmm... mine keeps only casting dotts and nothing after that, even on bosses, so i have to take over myselfe :/

In Dragon Soul, during Skyfire Airship, if I let the CC select the target, the following units are never attacked
56923 - Twilight Sapper
(56855 or 56587, not sure) - Twilight Assault Drake
If I do targeting manually, the rotation is not done on those target, I have to manually cast my spells. I also tried to add them to the special target list with focus checked.

Anyone have an idea how to solve this issue?

is it possible to program it to move side to side during instant cast spell cooldowns? to increase shadowy apparition spawns
 
Nothing happendd, no targeting, no casting. Using this few months age, was ok. Have a new version CC and HB. Only actiation: Using: Darkmoon Card : Tsunami ( iknow its for healing trink)
 
This CC is excellent... but there are issues due to 4.3. Update it and I'll be happy to donate!!
