Not because you have any chance of getting the account back, you don't. Do it because on a round of banning, they will wait to see how many innocents they caught in the crossfire, and how many appeals come back. Lets say they ban 100 accounts and get 0 appeals, they will know that method is a good bot busting one, but if they get 70 appeals, then its back to the drawing board. I appealed all 4 of my banned accounts today for this reason alone, the greater good and so they think they need to refine or shift gears. It's cat and mouse, so lets keep em guessing, and appeal with a doe-eyed "why was i banned?!!1!one!?! response. And who knows, maybe you'll get an account back.

They're banning without proof and its obvious. Either way people who bought it from battle.net will just call CC company up and get money back they wont provide proof of the violation. Guess next time ill buy mine from them instead of at the store.

People won't contest if they don't have a 100% ban wipeout. Because that will lead Blizzard to investigate the following:
- Address
- IP/HWID/Mac Address
- Name + Credit Card + PayPal account

In the worst case scenario, you're going to get
- All remaining accounts banned via association.
- Your PayPal account + balance frozen/suspended.
- Your billing information blacklisted.

are you retarded?

Did you read them you're not a smart one are you ?

They had sites that used paypal as a payment option a site that had GOLD for sale. Blizzard CANNOT prove the money someone sent you was for gold don't you understand that ? You realize all them links apply to people running websites selling gold right ? Therefor you proved nothing.

Apparently Blizzard is not known for issuing legal notices with clarity, they're more used with sending "blanket automated replies". So the legal notice that you have just read also includes reported/flagged PayPal accounts without websites.

Go to bed :) You're making shit up now. Either provide someone who actually had this happen or let it go people have been selling wow gold for years and never once had paypal send anything to them. Not to mention if you DONT TRADE gold on your main account that is linked to paypal blizzard wouldn't even have your paypal to report. You know how they get your paypal ? You run a site to sell it that is the ONLY way for them to get your paypal they buy it from you.

Caveat Venditor. Just warning the masses before they become willing lab rats and stepping stones to test the ban-appeal-waters for you guys.

IF you used RMAH with any of your accounts, they "could" isssue a chargeback on every single transaction because you broke their terms, which in turn would spell trouble for your account.

But considering RMAH sales go through even after your account got banned, this is highly unlikely.

Won't happen blizzard lawyers would never let them even think of it. They can't prove you botted to begin with and charging back would be fraud and require them to provide proof.
