Hey everyone,

I was looking on wowhead, and it says that there are mining veins for the new Cata ore in this basically unused zone below Silithus. Can anyone confirm this? It would be great to fly around and gather in a relatively empty zone with little to no competition. Your thoughts?

From the various maps for Ahn'Qiraj instances (Temple, Ruins) on WoWHead, there are only a handful of nodes and widely spaced out. Only Obsidian spawns there--no Elementium, no Pyrite. The Ahn'Qiraj instances are big places, and you can't fly there. At 85, you may be able to walk around some boss encounters, but you'll still have things like the gauntlet tunnel with which to contend.

It simply is not worthwhile to make a profile for such little reward. One loop around Deepholm--even when heavily farmed--would yield considerably more.

The nodes listed for Ahn'Qiraj: The Fallen Kingdomj zone are actually on the A'Q/Uldum border. I would expect any competent Uldum mining profile to pick up these nodes.

cheers,
