[Agil] [BETA] Gear optimizer, spiritbonder, and repair!

Status
Not open for further replies.
Will be trying this now. Trying to do a chocbo grind. At the moment I am most interested in repair. Has been using repear but have had to set it at a general time. This would make things slightly more efficient. I am looking at setting it to 1%. I have set it to 01.0 hope that is correct.

So it left for repair... the lowest item I had was at 69%. Am I doing the setting worng?

Again, I have it at 01.0

Leave it at 1.0 and it should work. Be sure to stop the bot while changing the settings, then start it again.

So i tried this out. I made it so that the SB is set to "true" and went SBing. It didnt change my gear over to new set when the gear reached 100%. Am I doing something wrong here? Is there something specific I need to do and/or enable?

Not that I've tested it, but 10/10 for the concept alone!

Time for a request: For all those 50 crafters out there, please add a repair via crafting option! Perhaps with dark matter support?

Can't wait to test it, I'm totally psyched!

You're doing nothing wrong, there's a bug with Spiritbinding. I'm fixing it right now and will update soon.

Oh ok. great! thanks for the quick response and THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS! I have been looking for something like this for sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long.

Also, on a side note, is there something simple you can do for crafters that just wanna craft using macros. Like a plugin that will just press the craft button, then press my macro, rinse and repeat?

Thanks.
I went ahead and left it at 10 last night. Based on the exp per hour I should be getting (without repair) I think it worked, accounting for travel time and all that.

Setting it at 1 now. The more efficient the better :D

Now if I only had a way to feed a curiel root every 30 minutes... ;D

Just be careful with 1, I'd recommend 5 or so. This is because even if your items reach 1 or below, Agil won't go repair if you're currently occupied, like if you're in the middle of a fate or in the middle of a craft. Setting it to 1 could mean your gear breaks while doing the fate.

That's basically what OrderBot does with crafting profiles, you can already do it.

Huh, that's really strange. Are you using the last version I uploaded? Do you also have RePear enabled?
It seems to require a full refresh of the bot itself (not just the addon). I have noticed that this happens with profiles as well; I will load a profile, be done with it, try to load another, and it goes back to the first profile. Not sure if this is a recent change in RB, but it wasn't always that way. But basically I need to reload the whole thing.

Anyway, for now I am killing single mobs (and have found that I can kill them naked, though it takes 4x longer lol). I am not too worried about being completely broken before running for repair. Right now I am wasting a bunch of time running to the vendor with way too much durability left. Certainly it is just the bot'stime, lol, but in a ten hour session I imagine I am missing out on about 100K chocobo exp, which is why I am trying to fine tune it for my purposes.

Anyway, if a full reload is all it takes, that is perfectly fine/easy.

You can't change Agil's settings while the bot is running. Try doing it like this:

1. Stop the bot.
2. Make sure Agil is enabled.
3. Go to Settings and change the "60.0" to "1.0".
4. Save the text file, important! Ctlr + S will do it.
5. Click the "Reload" button on Agil's Settings window.
6. Now start the bot.

It should now go repair only when your gear reaches 1.0 or less. You do have to click "Reload" after editing the settings file. The Agil plugin must be enabled.

I did all of this. I just clicked "stop", made the changes, then clicked "start".

I don't know why it wasn't working. When I go in I see the changes having saved, but they just don't seem to be applying until I fully reload the bot.

It seems a stat weight is missing for one of the jobs. What class where you when it happened?
