After tests....monster power sucks

updated gear so will need to start from scratch.

hey egghead, thanks for doing the test for the db community. so, using your theory, would you say act3 mp0 would have even better result than mp1?
 
@ikw just started mp0....I have never tried it. I cant believe how easy it is, and so far mp0 wins over mp1, I really hate it, feels like I had a harder time levelling lol.
havent tried it accurately enough to see proper stats yet when i do i will post, but just having a quick look mp0 > all other
 
with 315k dps during wotb i have found mp1 to be best result for me...have had upwards of 145 rares/hour and 2 leg/hour with that
 
@jipro i agree mostly, im stuck in choosing at the moment. ill try 2 days more on mp0 then make a decision.

try mp0 without wotb and tell me how u do. im sure you can find a decent offensive skill to replace it (furious charge-merc assault or overpower-10%crit)
 
just curious whats your full build egghead? i'm using normal WW build + OP(killing spree)..with current gear setup have 168k unbuffed dps using high strength skorn and crappy hellfire ring(losing about 15-20k dps)

That's an interesting idea, i'll give it a try...another major part of WOTB is the run speed however so I'm guessing my numbers will dip a little unless i can change sprint to marathon and not notice a dps/rage difference as well.
 
standard WW, but since patch im using overpower crushing advance, havent tried killing spree.

2 handed WW :O

if i equip 2 handed i have around the same dps, maybe a little less, but fuck 2 handed

i have bad dw weapons and im on 140k unbuffed, bet my hellfire ring is worse than yours:P soj also so also losing dps

echoing fury and better offhand would boost me loads, but again i dont want fear either so ill wait.

ill look at killing spree now:P I also get a LOT of legendaries, but rarely are they any good.
 
at low mp levels haven't found a problem with 2h WW and it's much cheaper for high dps. i only have 3% life steal but since my dps is higher it scales very well..makes its value probably closer to 4-6%(compared to other people).

230k dps with OP(KS) @ 3% life steal is 1380 LoH without the ability scaler annoyance.

That's after changing sprint to marathon and swapping grim harvest into WOTB position on MP0...i suspect the change to marathon was the real catalyst however...going to keep marathon and swap WOTB back in for grim harvest and see how this run goes.
 
Very informative thread, thanks for sharing. I have one question, how do I see my DPH? Does DB store a log file somewhere?
 
jipro, using insanity? or frenzy? for your 300k dps or whatever it was i saw
i reckon i could get close to 600k gonna try in a bit, with a stupid spec just to see my top temporary dps. see what you can get.

sprint is mandatory imo
