[AFK Leveling] Complete Act 1 AFK Leveling Profile

So I'm new to botting in Diablo 3, apologies in advance for any noob questions..

Few things while I have been trying to get this to work...

Firstly, I found the task scheduler however when I drag/drop, navigate to the quest 1-3 file and click save it doesn't add anything to my task list? (Am I doing something wrong :/)

Secondly, I tried a path last night that farmed the first quest heaps, got my char to lvl 10... Now today I found this one and thought I'd try it but when I try and run it my guy just sits there doing nothing at the start of the game... I thought it might be items in his bag so I sold everything he had and still just sits there until it times out and the unstucker addon kicks in and restarts the game....

Oh I should probably mention the plugins I'm running in-case they're messing with it...

Any help on fixing this is greatly appreciated because it sounds like an amazing profile and I'd really like to get it going! :)

Also I agree with the need for a paypal donate button, I'd happily donate to keep this alive (and hopefully get the other acts done). :)

I've experienced the first issue you've had myself. Usually just closing and re-opening Demonbuddy was the fix for that. As for the second issue, I can't say that I've had issues with that. If you could close DB, re-open and run that fresh and then post some logs. The first step I could suggest would be to run with no addons to see if that solves the issue as they could be the culprits.

As for a Paypal, while I'm glad people are wanting to do that but I don't feel comfortable with it quite yet. If were to get Act 1 going fully afk I might think about it to support doing other acts as well.
 
Also, I've taken the last couple of days off knowing that I'm going to run into a roadblock on the next few quests (specifically with the non-solid walls in the Cursed Hold). I'm going to get back at it soon and hope the next version of DB can support that area as I foresee that being a big challenge.
 
Ends up restarting DB fixed it all... :)

The bot is up and running around questing. ^_^
 
Awesome! These profiles are great, I changed the 1-3 quest chain to nightmare, turned on my bot and off he goes. If he dies or sits too long, he resets and on he goes. I love it! +rep
 
Love the profile! Noob question though, how do you change the difficulty to nightmare?

You can edit the file with any program that can read .xml files. Notepad works though I will put in a plug for Notepad++ as that's what I've been using and loving. All you have to do is find the line near the top and where it says difficulty="Normal" : change that line to read difficulty="Nightmare" and that should do the trick.

Have admittedly been slacking a little bit and been stuck at work more than I'd like to. With the patch and other things this week I'm hoping to have it done by the end of week. (Although I know the Cursed Hold and Warden area are going to be an issue.)
 
Thanks for all the hard work, will use this script after patch 1.0.4 and report and bugs/ stucks.
 
Used this a bit to start a barb, it works about 90% of time, not barring the known bugs, its easy enough to finish act1 once you've got to the spider queen, I however, always get lost and it takes me like 5 mins to find her. Great work so far, and I will be watching closely as I will prob use it for NM/Hell act 1 as well.

All goes fine except 1 thing :
When stash slots are full and it's beginning of act 1 - bot try TP to town and CAN'T, cause we begin A1-1 in town.
Also it can't run to vendor, cause vendor is locked by the first quest with gates.
So it just stand & do nothing.
As for stash not all slots are full. 1 or 2 slots are empty, cause there are items that fill 1 instead of 2 slots.
But they lay in bag such way that bot can't insert 2 slotted item and at the same time stash is not fulled.
Using GilesEquipper & ObjectHandler + Belphegor.
Guys, what I need 2 do, for normal item handling. As for this profile, I think bot must sell all items every run, because later it goes a bug.

This profile doesn't actually sell anything, its demonbuddy that is buggy and doesn't ahve logic to not sell or TP on the first quest. Not much you can do except turn off looting or pick a loot profile that only loots gold etc..
 
I am using DB for the first time (1 day trial version).

I created my DH in D3, I loaded successfully 'rgod14's Act 1 v1.2 (Quest 1 - 7).xml' through url option.
I clik on 'start', character enters Act I lvl 1 but doesn't move at all. Same happens if I use the 'quest 1 only' script.

Diablo 3 windowed mode.
What am I doing wrong ?
