Advice wanted, if anyone care to give it :) Fishbot

Hey guys, im sitting on two honorbuddy keys that i dont dare to use anymore(had my alt account banned a year ago and havent used HB since then)

Anyhow im wanting to skill my fishing to 600 for garrisons in wod, just for the sake of it on a few of my level 90s on my main account.

I realize this whole "its never safe to bot", but if i do pick a good fishing spot in the old world(since i only need skill), some place where i know the chance of a human appearing is 0.0001% and then even less that that person reports me. How safe would it be for me to try and skill my chars up to 600 in sessions be? My thoughts is that it will be all about the bot itself and its interaction with wow. Any advice would be appreciated, if i should use HB or some simpler fishbot program.
 
The single best advice I can give, is act like a human.

I wouldn't advise going into the old world, just use pool fishing and make your profile to fly around to find them, or if your lazy take one of the ones from the forum.

How many people do you know that would sit in a remote corner of the world to level fishing? None. Would that be what a botter would do? Yes.

Also go read the sticky on avoiding the ban hammer, take that to heart (and I really mean take it to heart) and you have to be really unlucky to get banned.

Another idea that some would agree with and others will run from is to sit yourself in plain view where there is an achievement available eg. dalaran sewers etc. I would suggest not being afk and watching a movie or something to reply to any whispers with a "still trying for this damn achievement, surely it will drop soon *cries*".

Whilst the legitimate reason for an extended fishing stop is real the reason some would run a mile from the idea is the risk of randoms reporting you just for the hell of it regardless of whether they think you a bot or not as some people have the mentality "oh I find that boring so they must be a bot".
 
Yeah i guess. Generally speaking though, if you say keep it at 30-60 min sessions and you either do as you say and set it to pool fishing over a large area, or stand in a city fishing for the achivement fish. If you totally disregard the chance of a player report, how much of a very crude risk is wow autobanning/gm finding you using a fishbot using the scale "very low, low, medium, high"
 
Luck of the draw, I've known people that have blatantly fished more hours than any human possibly could without bans and then my first ever "main" account got banned waaaaay back in vanilla for fish botting.

General rule of thumb I stick to botting times that I would be playing locally and my accounts have never really had dramas that I haven't caused (you know that one time you leave a bot running and go to the toilet will be the time something bugs out and you sit constantly casting over and over like an idiot in front of heaps of people (not saying hb would do this just remembering painful lessons of the past) :)

Yeah ill start doing 1 episode of a tv show sessions with me infront of the computer while it fishs, should work well with going to training master and get skill aswell inbetween. Just have this big paranoia that the bot itself is detectable :> I dont really care about player reports.

Bot isnt detected, and u should care about player reports...
 
Dalaran fountain is a good spot to sit and fish up to 600 as the trainer is right next to you and people do sit there fishing for the achievements. I think PB has a profile for it too, if not there's one about somewhere.
 
Watch it in the Dalaran fountain though, sometimes people like to stand their mounts on people's bobbers so a person can't click it, at least not in the time the bot takes. I've used this area a few times but never AFK.
 
Fishbotting is pretty much the safest type of botting there is. If you're doing it completely afk you may want to try in the river outside the valley where Draenei start. The only people that will come across you are lvl 5's passing you on their way to Azure Watch and there is a trainer right there (Diktynna) so it's like the Dalaran fountain minus the risk.
 
Run it for a short while at a time and watch a movie or tv show while it runs. If someone shows up... manual fish for a few till they leave. ETC.
 
No one will report you for fishing since hardly anyone is talking about it.

If you want something nerfed, just start talking about it. This has been true since the beginning of time yet stupid dumb botters never understand this fact. HAHAAH HERP DERP I MAKE DA 2000gold per hour haahahah stupid dumbasses
