start the game, load into a game, open demonbuddy, go to plugins tab, click config on adventurer on plugins.

You can NOT open settings while bot is running.
you can NOT open settings when character is not loaded into world (character select screen)
 
Thanks for the help, I changed it to GR 42, but he entered a 58... Any idea whats up with that?

Are you sure you set it to 42? Perhaps you set it to [Max - 4] or something similar.. if not I would recommend stopping and staring the bot to make sure. if this error persists, I would recommend reporting it as a bug and attach your log of this action, I will look into static GR levels in a few hours.
 
Rebooted my pc and started the bot with those settings, and entered 58 again

I was just able to manually start a GR lvl 25 (max my WD can do efficiently) without a problem, I think this would be a configuration issue.

You can find adventurer config at DB/settings/BNET#ID/Adventurer/###/Config.json

Can you do a search for 'GreaterRiftLevel' and confirm the number to the right is 42?
Are you running any other plugins as well? There is a chance something might be overriding your settings from adventurer.
