Action bar spell order?

As title says, I am wondering if I can put any spell/ability in any slot? (Or does the bot have to have spells in specified actionbar slots?)

Eg. If I have a setup for manual dungeons, can the bot work with that setup?

nope, you could have no spells in the box, and it would still work... so any spell any box doesn't matter.
