(I suspect Core of Arreat on nightmare MAY take you to 55, but might involve doing Highland passage on hell-mode for some levels, I didn't use DH above about level 48 or so)

It seems they removed the checkpoint from here or some other kind of funky thing with checkpoints. Anyone else running into this issue?

If you take the Quest part with Chamber of Suffering there is no Checkpoint, you ned to take that one befor, I think "The Cursed Hold".
