(ACT 3) Convert from frenzy to WW Barb - N help

I don't have the time to examine each piece of gear however, you lack critdmg,life and some strength.

Replace the gems.

And obviously get a mace mh with 900+ loh and socket and a dagger or so with 900 loh and socket for oh.

Be sure to try and put the highest emerald gems in you can afford.

Your crit is quite fine, but as I said you have pieces of gear with little to no vitality on. You should be aiming 55k + hp and 1000 ra + 50%crit + 390% +++ crit damage.

That's from my experience anyway, I'm sure someone will come along and say you need less.

I'm just going by what I know from doing ww spec act3 champs.

so the title pritty much say it all.

My gear and stats (all unbuffed):

if you could give me some specific gear changes i need to make it would be perfect. Btw i got around 30 mil gold to use atm.

I can't give you specific gear changes. Here's what you need to go for, in order to fully clear current ciggarc a3 profiles with minimum dph.

DPS doesn't matter really, since 30k+ dps kills just fine in a3 inferno so, for WW purposes shoot for at least 40k+ unbuffed.

Life leech seems to work better than Life on hit, but a good mix of both isn't bad. I have around 900 loh and 3% lf on my barb, and it seems to be quite effective, in conjunction with potions/health globes and the freedom wotb gives the barb (against frozen mobs) and ww (bodyblocking)

AR should be 900 tops, with lower dps, you want this higher. If you get to around 60k+ dps, you will be fine with 900.

Decide if you want to do Dual wield 1handers or sword and board. If you have really good mainhand and a shield, and high dps - go for it, as the stability is awesome. However, there are users who have made dual wielding effective with a high stats (str, vit, crit hit dmg, socket, vit) and low dps offhands.

Goal for crit hit chance: 40 unbuffed (axes help you get here)
Goal for crit hit damage: 200%+ (60+ neck, 30+ rings, 90+ weapons and of course, emeralds in weapons increase this.)

Life: if you dual wield, you want around 45-50k, if you use a sword and shield, 35-40k will suffice.

Movement speed above 12% seems to make looting troublesome for giles trinity. Keep this in mind.

That should be it :) best of luck.

Just go ahead and try with this set up. Looks good enough to me. I'm running a bot atm, SnB ww, that has almost similar stats on survivability but you have way more crit chance and crit damage than I do. Haven't died yet in 30 minutes. This one has only 25k dps unbuff with 1k LoH and 2+ lifesteal.

Have another 2 bots, 1 with only 450 LoH, the other 600 LoH, both with 2+ lifesteal, both SnB ww. Just switched them from rend frenzy build. I'll post again if they perform okay.

So is frenzy/rend/revenge SnB worse than bash/WW SnB barb? I mean, is there a noticeable dps increase? Rend is really strong right now.

Permanently switched one of my barbs to ww, the other two dies way too many times and ends up making the runs longer. All of them uses SnB.

25k DPS, 1k LoH, 900-1k Res, 2x LS, 1.42 APS (Attacks per second) ---> Rend/Frenzy
35k DPS, 600 LoH, 900-1k Res, 2x LS, 1.54 APS ---> Rend/Frenzy
45k DPS, 450 LoH, 9xx Res, 2x LS, 1.74 APS ---> WW SnB

Crit chance all 38-ish after buff. Everything else rather similar.

I feel that to really make it work out you really need a good amount of DPS and more importantly a fast attack speed to keep LoH up. Pushing LoH up to 600 minimum will make runs more comfortable as I still do die every now and then.

DPS is rather similar between the two, I would think Frenzy/Rend is better actually especially against yellow elites. What sets them apart is sprint/WoTB. Sometimes the bot is able to keep WoTB up long enough after elite packs that it rampages over trash mobs, speeding up the run on that map by several seconds. Sprint speeds up the run even more. It all adds up after a long period of time.

But if the barb keeps dying then it's totally not worth it.
