Accounts being appealed

What I was saying, to clarify since you haven't understood thus far, is that we have no right as cheaters to get mad if we are banned and they didn't inform us. Also since a lot of accounts are having this issue (new accounts minutes to hours after making them) and no one I know in real life has this issue I think it's safe to say we are the "control" group in this experiment.

Whos getting mad? what I'm saying since as you're clearly not grasping the situation is... What is the message that you receive when you log in..

Does it say you're banned? No
Does it say you're accounts terminated or suspended? No
Can you re use your old username on a new account? and No
Does it say you're having trouble receiving data from the server? Yes

Look at that its MAGIC its not the first time this data failed screen has been seen and it wasnt a ban wave then...

My one account that has been inaccessible for 2 days now still has a pokemon in a gym down the street. I just can't log into that one account. Seems if they perma banned it, the pokemon in that gym would vanish. but who knows. no appeal from me, I will just wait and see.

mines the same, still holding 4 gyms since thursday night,

This would be true a month ago because of shit server issues, however, if you create a new account and login it's fine. Logging into any of my botted accounts give the error where non botted accounts do not. Put 2 and 2 together.
 
I'm just gonna leave you to your logic. Don't wanna get caught in that downward spiral.

Put 2 and 2 together? i didnt bot my google play account and that has the same log in error, only it got the same error the day after my botted accounts did?
just because you can make a new account and play it fine, thats nice but at the same time not everyone is experiencing the same problems with the servers are they?
 
the mistake you're all making is appealing a ban when you're experiencing connection issues, no where has it been released by the company that you have been banned, your accounts are all still active, thats the reason you cant use the same name, not only that but legit non botters have also had the same problem one of my accounts i didnt bot is also having the connection error, when you open a ticket request with there support list it as a connection issue not a ban or you might as well email them saying yeah i was botting sorry wont do it again...


i appealed lost items since my coins were not showing up, then appealed not being able to connect then later appealed a ban because online when i looked up the data error everyone was saying ban. all three instances they replied with the same cheating response.

So apparently you're the only one who has had a reply from them? screen shot it and post it.. the reply not the auto message that gets sent when ever you open a ticket

Given Niantic's history with communication: If he got a response from an actual person that represents Niantic... He should print that out on some high quality photo paper, frame it, and hang that shit on a wall.

Any decent customer wouldn't cheat and make other customer's enjoyment of company's said product unenjoyable. So I don't really see where you are coming from. Also you have no right as a consumer to virtual goods. In any country or in international law. So why do you have a right to something that hasn't been given? I mean seriously? You were probably banned for cheating and you seriously wanna complain? And if you weren't banned and it's a server issue then it'll be ratified by their "customer service" and "technicians" and you can come back or PM me and tell me how stupid I am.

First statement, of course they would, there's no such thing as a decent customer, just a gullible one. Second part, I am American, OF COURSE I WOULD COMPLAIN, I feel entitled at birth. Rectified, but yeah, you're right. Either way, watch me file a credit card dispute, I will in fact get my money back for virtual goods, this is a known fact if it's an American company vs an American consumer. They have to prove that they provided the goods, which almost never happens. If you have a credit card company like USAA, they keep fighting and you always win. This I can tell you, they have x amount of time to respond to any dispute. Overwhelm them, and they will lose money.

I have the same problem. I made a new account and still can't log in. This is due to them IP banning you. Right now my phones IP and my wired IP are banned but not my wifi.
 
I have the same issues with 2 of my 3 accounts. But I log in to my legit account and look at the gyms I own, I have all 3 on the same gym and it still shows the two banned accounts. Why would they not remove them from the gyms if they were in fact banned and terminated?

Because it would take extra effort to do that and it's not really necessary since eventually they'll be kicked out by extra players. Niantic wanted to get the bans out asap so they probably only did what was absolutely necessary.
 
Cool. Well I have my legit account receiving a free 100 coins per day from my other 2 3400+ cp pokemon holding down the top spots and them being lvl 9 gyms. Love it. Thansk niantec
