Accounts banned

That just makes me the think that they are flagging and banning those who run multiple accounts/chars at the same time. If anyone has been banned using DB and only DB on 1 account, then I would begin to worry.

Quick question. Have you sold anything on the RMAH on any of the accounts? There was a spate of bans from people using the RMAH and Blizzard's automatic fee deduction not working and then them blaming it on the user and banning both buyer and seller for attempting to buy stuff without funds. If all your accounts are on the same master bnet account, having one account banned for a RMAH bug would probably result in all of them being banned.

Only bought and sold on the RMAH from my main account. Only account linked with paypal. Only acount not banned.

How exactly do you people use several bots on different IP's for all?

Sorry for your loss man, it seems Blizzard ARE taking actions againts botters although not in a large scale. Serves as a reminder to most of us to be careful here :)

Appreciate the heads up, and good luck getting your new accounts. Peace bro

It might be the HID + same IP that got you busted then. Just being on the same IP isn't grounds to ban (if there's multiple people in the same household using the same line to play, which is a realistic scenario), however if all of those are from the same computer and the hardware ID is the same, there's no possible way you could be playing 6 instances simultaneously for extended periods of time. I personally don't have experience multibotting but I'd imagine you'd need to run VMWare or something like that just to make it seem as if you're on different computers.

Hmm.. Can anyone that really knows this explain how to get a different IP/HWID per client?

^This is what I wanted to see in this whole thread.
Has anyone who uses ONE account and DemonBuddy been banned yet? Once that happens, I will stop.

Been keeping tabs on this thread. Happily botting Sarkoth still, only 1 account and 1 instance of DB. $50 says their banning people who are using more than 2 accounts on D3 when on the same HID....AND....IP addresses. They sure as hell can't detect DB still or the forums would be blowing up with "Account Banned" threads. It's really not hard to datamine and figure out what string of accounts are connected and if they are being used for gold farming. What I'm trying to say is....ANYONE with a brain and access to Diablo3's logged account data could figure out if your botting when you have 6+ clients open at one time, all on the same HID and IP. Also its horrendously easy for Blizzard to come up with a single way to nail botters. Take for example your follower saying something in chat; "Let us seek this fortune together" - Scoundrel. I've noticed that the follower says the exact same lines every Sarkoth run I do. Now, say Blizzard is smart enough to record how many times that follower says something...turn that into an algorithm with some brainpower and they could easily be alerted when the follower has said that line X amount of times in X amount of hours. Follow me? Not trying to scare anyone, but it is possible. None the less...I still say $50 on people being banned due to IP and HID logging.

So if someone gets banned using one account and one DemonBuddy thing you will give them fifty bucks? That is almost a new license for Diablo! You're on! ;D Haha.

Also, my character says, "Did those creatures steal the treasure?" Every time I go in the cellar. Do you think this would fuck me up to? I don't use a follower. Damn Monk and his catch phrases.

Yeah, happened a week back or so. But that was probably him getting himself reported by a friend or a recent player.

Gonna stop?

Well don't take what I said too seriously. Just a little theory I've been crafting in my head. And I'm just some slightly gifted schmuck in terms of IQ and intelligence. I mean step into Blizzards shoes for a moment. Why NOT implement something like that? It's ingenious, nearly impossible to pin point by botters. It's normal, built into the game, expected. All of which are elements to being a effin NINJA. So yeah...thats what I would do if I was Blizzard and trying to catch botters.

Still no answer to my tickets...

Not sure if that's good or bad news

Im sure they are swamped with all the AH AutoIT bans they just delivered. Man it is so weird you and the other guy got hit in that wave, even though u only used DB (I believe you too). I wonder if something went awry or what, because if they were banning for DB or even doing some kind of analysis we'd see way more reports on these forums.

Well the thing with that theory is, a lot of the hardcore legit players farm little things like Sarkoth to get better gear, especially HC players. So they would get banned too because they pretty much act like a bot, and in some cases they do runs a whole lot faster than a bot can. Scary shit that people dedicated that much time to a shitty game like Diablo 3, let alone a game in general!
