Account locked?

This Diablo III account has been locked due to an auction-related issue. Until this issue is resolved, the account will be unavailable for play. Access to the Diablo III auction house is restricted until the account is unlocked.

Contact Account Administration to recover access to the account:
anyone have Expirience with this? what happened?
 
probably used different IP's when using the RMAH. Got me locked once, they will usually require you to upload your ID to verify that its your account.

it can happen for a variety of reasons when there's a problem with an auction. need more info about the auction that caused the lock to determine what exactly. in any case you can usually clear this up by submitting a ticket to support. don't submit a "i got suspended and wish to appeal" ticket, pick some other category and just play dumb like you have no idea what happened

^^This. they can lock the account for any reason, playing dumb definitely helps especially if the guy just wants to clear his incoming cases.

should i even contact them?
 
yea i am still playing as well. i sold some set boots for 30 USD and 80mil gold before that about 7 hours apart. i use 1 account. 1 bit. 1 ip. ive done nothing different. The ticket i submitted said i was told to contact them cuz i got an email saying so.. should i start a new one? and i just went back to botting lol i should prolly stop eh?

Same thing here. But I sent them a message first... lol

Before this happened, I had some gold sitting in the RMAH auction tab (not the completed) that said "Authorizing" for about a day, never had that before.


I also changed my email, however I am still able to log in with the same email.

And yes the links in the email are to the actual battle.net and all processes were done though battle.net
 
i was trying to sell my gold through rmah and there was some issues due to servers being overloaded.
so i tried to cancel it but the gold never returned to my stash and i didn't see a notice saying it had sold. it was a decent chunk of gold and i was upset that it might have vanished into thin air due to the server issues, but i guess it sold.... and then i got that email
i dont really want to contact them if i dont have to but im nervous to keep botting on that account
 
Mine was also during the lag/crash, and I got a decent chunk back, even though the sale email says full price... and its still processing after 2 days.

It sounds like its related to the crash.

If you would read the forums (any d3 one), everyone was having the issue and items/gold should end up in the completed tab now or stash.

It's been fixed.
 
I got that email for my RMAH account. The account was able to still login and is still playing at this time. I at no point was unable to access it. All the transactions appear to still be going through, none of them show failed in the completed tab.

I ignored it.
