Greetings,

This account is currently suspended. Before this suspension can be lifted, we need to verify the account ownership.

In order to regain access to the account, please provide us with the following:

Battle.net Account Name: The account name (email address) you are using to login.
Your Battle.net Secret Question and Answer.
Name: the full name that the account was created with.
Address: The address information given when the account was created.
Zip/Postal Code: The zip/postal code that was given when the account was created.
The Following Statement: "I have now checked the security of my computer, ensuring it is free of any viruses or key loggers and can confirm all appropriate precautions have been taken."

If you use more than one e-mail address, only send us these details through one of them. If possible, the e-mail address registered to the account. Submitting your details from several different addresses may cause confusion , and delay the successful processing of your issue. If you do reply with a different mail address, please also state what the registered email address was.

If you need a reminder of your account's secret question, please do the following:

- Go to https://eu.battle.net/account/support/login-support.xml
- Press "Recover your Battle.net Account Password" on the page that appears.
- Provide your account name and real name, and click continue.

You will now be asked your secret question.

Your secret question and answer is considered a vital detail in your account verification, and it is very important that you provide it.

---

If you cannot remember these details we will also require:

- A scan or digital image of nationally recognised photo ID, such as passport or drivers licence (please do not include public transport cards, library cards etc, as these are unsuitable for our needs).

and

- The last 4 numbers of the credit card you are using on this account or a picture of the game card used, if you use those.

always have a lvl 1 account wow classic only, to sell with, make a GuildB then put the lvl 1 in it get the gold out and then sell with that, now you lost a good account, unlucky for the loss.

He didnt lose it (yet). It's only a temporary account lock. Once he gives them the info blizz needs, they'll give it back.

it looks like a phishing email tbh.

[email protected]

is not an email set by blizzard. they have a couple standard emails and I don't believe this is one.

as well check to see if it just said "Greetings," they will always say "Greetings, Name" or have your account name in it.

On that link you provided it states that Blizzard will not ask for account information but in the OP's post i quote

Battle.net Account Name: The account name (email address) you are using to login.
Your Battle.net Secret Question and Answer.
Name: the full name that the account was created with.
Address: The address information given when the account was created.
Zip/Postal Code: The zip/postal code that was given when the account was created.

So just on that it seems like a scam.

I would go to Blizzards website without using the links in the email and use their webform or email from there.

Good luck OP

Happy that you've read the link in whole.
If so you would've noticed:

  • There are a couple of things that will instantly pop up the question if a mail is from Blizzard or not. Most of the times fake emails will ask for your password; Blizzard will NEVER asks for these things! DO NOT reply to these kind of emails!

Blizzard however will sometimes ask for things like:
  • Your account details
  • Other Character details
    Etc..
So just on that it seems like a scam.

Which is exactly the thing they advise in that link I posted...

Unless the email you received is a direct response to an email you have sent, never reply to such emails. Use the web-form found here: http://www.wow-europe.com/support/securitywebform/securitywebform.html?lan=en
You can also use the above mentioned web-form to contact Blizzard in case you are unsure about the authenticity of an email from Blizzard.

Look, the main proof that it's authentic is that the account was genuinely locked.
No amount of magical powers from spammers are able to lock your account, and send you a spam email to get your details.

good news my account is unlocked after i send my driver license to prove account ownership

sorry for my bad english and thx all for the reply

Liar. This guy is a poser. Notice the 0 posts.
I have never had a wow account and I got an email just today from this same sender asking for my account info so my account isn't locked - I don't have an account that could get locked and neither did this guy have one that was locked.
He is a poser. Someone that gets an email like this will google it to find info on whether or not this is a trustworthy sender, and guess what - this forum comes up in the top 20 highest search results.\
Poser is out here trying to supply info to trick other people.
Never, ever, ever supply information through email to anyone at blizzard unless it is a conversation that You Started. They don't care if they suspended or banner or are going to suspend or ban your account enough to give you a heads up or tell you what to do if it has or is going to happen. That is expected of YOU. So, unless you made first contact via a petition to their site on getting your account unsuspended or unbanned - Never reply with any information from any out-of-the-blue email, no matter how legit looking it sounds.
