Account Closure - VERY fresh account (Interesting auto-ban info)

Hi guys,

I've bought the bot but never used it, not yet anyway since I don't want to risk anything before reading everything about how to set it up and what to consider to avoid a ban hammer. However reading many posts on this forum, I want to make an imput regarding the amount of items one can put on auction house. I make gold by farming AH, that is to say by buying items cheap and reselling them for the market price. I can have 3000 to 4000 auctions at the same time every day. I have also at some point got mats from some one who bots and flooded the AH with them undercutting everyone else. I've done this for two months now and haven't had any issues yet.

With that said, if there was an automatic function in the game to ban some one with many items at AH, then I should have been auto banned by now. But as I said before, I don't bot, so maybe there is a combination of some factors that matters.

It's a combination of variables that gets people banned (Like for example: Many same mobs killed & Long online & Many CoD's & All the time in the same zone & A lot of auctions = possible auto-ban).

How do you know you haven't been reported? Because you ain't got any whispers? Dude, there are people just checking zones, get attention of people they recognize for being online a long time and they write a ticket. You NEVER know, if 1,2,3...20 people have written tickets.

I dont even think there is a real autoban function for these activities.

In some cases I had about 300 Auctions each day and farmed 2 days before straight vashjir herbs 42/48 hours, no profile changes, and sent over 100 CoD messages each day, the bans for many auctions are player reports to in my opinion.

How do you know you haven't been reported? Because you ain't got any whispers? Dude, there are people just checking zones, get attention of people they recognize for being online a long time and they write a ticket. You NEVER know, if 1,2,3...20 people have written tickets.

Was writing stuff in general chat, was being very dynamic with zones (switching every now and then) etc. (Also used a lot of multi-zone profiles).

Besides, the other botters "do not" whisper you if they intend to get you banned. They just report you. And i believe a person who says "Hey, you are a bot and i will now report you." will not report you. But as i said, you do not have to be whispered to be reported. A person simply can wake up for checking his bots at 3-4 a.m., open his /who list in zone, and start reporting. This is whom i call "bastard" that reports someone else for botting, even if he does THE SAME THING. And these people "do not whisper."

During the nights I was ALWAYS in either Outland or Northrend on multi-zone profiles.
In Uldum I was using a custom profile for Whipetail, no1 else had the same route or saw me.
Don't think other botters would've recognised me.

Something else must trigger the ban, not the zone. I had a few chars that leveled herba/mining this week. Funny thing is that some accounts we're banned and most we're not. They used the exact same profile, paths, etc.
Now I am really wondering what kind of auto baning system they got. Because its really fishy. The program catches only some of the botters. Its definately not player reports because these are all new chars and we're supervised all the time while they we're active. Playtime was 12-15 hours maxim with breaks every 3 hours.
I really dont get it, what is triggering these bans. All I can say is that they are automated for sure.
I personally think that they are experimenting a new software at this time or they simply modified the detection rules to something more strict. Their system is not perfect, that's for sure, but they are trying to get down as many as possible down before the new expansion so it will be like this for a couple of months.

I got VERY easily unbanned, within 10 minutes of the ticket, they hardly even looked at it I bet, so probably it is a new system indeed.
What was the ban reason you had? And were they all perma and did they all get unbanned?

The same abuse of the economy standard ban e-mail on all. All we're offline for more then 3-4 hours at that time. I didnt even know they we're banned until I tried to log into one of them a couple of hours ago.

Did you try to get them unbanned yet?
I made a ticket saying pls open my account it is bugged closed pls help me, some sad story about wanting to play pandaria soon etc etc
Acted like a total fool basically.

I think its probably an issue with RaF.

I started out a fresh account with RaF. Leveled up until 12, and then got banned.

why?

Because "I exploited the economy" Needly to say, it was instantly repealed.

what did you do to get banned so quick lol? grind or proxy? actually i dont think you can even get banned at a lvl 12 from grinding... you had to be do something else besides leveling

9 AM on my server ( medium to high pop ). 5 players in TH and 21 in Uldum -.-
In the afternoon, TH fills up also, @20-25 and Uldum the same.
Looks safe to farm in the morning.

I found some obvious botters while botting myself. I will never report them even if they steal (they don't actually steal because it's not mine in the first place) my stuff, because I am no better than them and also I believe God will smite me with a banhammer if I'm a jerk and want everything to myself

Nobody knows what gets you banned. These theories are all hilarious. I've gotten banned before and the email I got from Blizz didn't even make sense (i.e. - abuse of economy when I didn't even have any auctions up)
