Abuse of the economy is not for the Honorbuddy detection...

ABUSE FOR THE ECONOMY BANHAMMER reasons:

● 1. TRADE gold Face to Face Method
(Blizzard BAN all account's in your IP too).

● 2. TRADE gold with Auction House method
(Buy grey item's for 20k it's "obvius" gold selling...
Blizzard BAN all account's in your IP too).

● 3. Use WOW behind a V*P*N in the first login with character lvl 1.
(Chinesse GOLD SELLER'S protection method)

● 4. LOGIN in diferent countries and IP's with V*p*n.
(Protection for steals account's and phishing)

● 5. Use P*R*O*X*Y servers.
(Favorite stealth method for Blackhat hackers and Gold stealers)

● 6. Use V*P*N in trial account's.
(Because Gold seller's buy battlechest with paypal, after they SPAM for 8 hours the city channel and cancel the payments)

● 7. Botting with multiple account's in the same IP.
(GM make investigation when server side create the "Red flag" and ban flaged farmers )

● 8. Cancel or Chargeback item's, key's, mount's, pet's, gametime, Token's.
(Blizzard hate lost money a lot)

● 9. Farm with bot's.
(Sometimes send Abuse of the economy instead unnaproved third party sofware email... or lock the account)

● 10. Duplicate the Gold.
( Destroy the economy and WoW a lot)


OTHER:

Sometimes people get banned in 2 hours of botting because using V*P*N or others flags...... need to talk with blizzard and they RESTORE your account really fast.

I must add, Multibotting per machine/subnet could deliver quite a fancy AoE ban.

And manual investigation from GM, who find past gold selling records on the account/machine/subnet could deliver it too

abuse of economy is not just gold selling, its anything relating to posting too many auctions, buying gold, selling gold, botting to farm mats and undercutting everyone too much will get you noticed,

if you don't want to get banned stay below 200 auctions per day, find one of those guys that spam trade chat for CoD bulk mats and sell all your shit to private people to avoid attention, don't sell gold, don't buy gold, don't bot more than 16 hours a day, i use arelog to take breaks and alternate between characters and accounts here and there, if you bot to farm make sure you use a profile switcher every 2-3 hours so ur not always on the same path in the same zone.
try to vary what you farm, dont use an auction bot as thats a surefire way to get a ban.

i've been botting 5 years without any bans, i run 5 accounts 24/7 on schedules and handle all the selling by CoD and minimal AH interaction, i havent been banned on any accounts yet. so all the people getting banned for abuse of economy are just people that are ignoring everyone telling them to be safe. the only successful botters are people with a system and that take precautions.plus if you AFK bot on your main account you are an idiot. a new account costs so little i don't know why you would want to risk your main account.

Sorry for your lost... but Abuse Of Economy have many reasons, blizzard can use abuse of economy instead third party sorfware bans...

- In some country's Blizzard can detect you more easy (Eula)... because have shit internet privacy law.

You don't get banned just because you use a VPN.

Yes, you may be banned because of that and Blizzard sends you an email with reason "abuse of economy".
The moment Blizzard identifies an IP-address that is on their VeePeeN list, you will be banned.
I think it's an automated process, so create a ticket and they will reopen your account.

Lastly, don't call the OP's post "crap"; he's only trying to help and if you think it's nonsense, just don't respond.
