Absolutely disappointed with questing

Hello every1! I have only recently heard about Honorbuddy from my pal, which is the hardcore botter. He said many good things about it, so I decided to give it a shot. In fact I was considering to buy a license for 3 PCs, but being thoughtful as I am I just decided to give a trial a shot and than consider buying this.
So I bought a fresh WoW cd-key, registered with game, attached the HB to it, installed Kick's 1-90 leveling pack, activated Cava 1-90 profile and started from a scratch with my new Undead Hunter, leveling. And boy, I really thought it would be faster than it actually occured to be. It took the bot around 6 (!!!) hours to get to lvl 10! In small Tirisfal glades! I have been watching the bot and noticed how inefficient and ugly the pathfinding model is.
But this was just the beginning of the story. The real fun came in after lvl 20, when the bot constantly pulled mobs on his route to gathering quests, without defending himself or hitting back. I tried to adjust it for optimal performance, but gave up after 2 hours. There is no option like pull distance or fight back in the settings menu both for the bot or the plugins. Nothing at all! What's even funnier, I see old threads on the forums regarding this questing kamikadze issues, which have not received ANY positive answer.
So to sum it up, this bot might be a good deal for the programmer which simply loves to fix stuff and check what's under the hood. As for the average, even the advanced PC user, it's a waste of time and money.
This piece of software should be issued on the free basis, as I can't find enough courage in myself to pay for absolutely underdeveloped, buggy product, which doesn't even have a normal support from the devs (as multiple quersting related issues tell).
 
Welcome to the Honorbuddy community, where botting doesn't mean you can go afk.
 
Yes, and where in annotations to leveling profile people say it's 95% AFK-able, while the truth is it's not AFK'able even by 5%.
 
Hey there, you cant totally hit one button and expect to get 1-90 totally AFK, and no profile guarrantees you a 100% AFK experience either thats just ridiculous.

Thats not how the bot works, you can make it semi-afk with some babysitting though but it still does a damn good job being nearly AFKable.
 
So were you using cava's or kick's profiles?

Using kicks right now and it doesn't even take six hours to do ten levels in the mid fifties.
 
I feel you, I have no idea how other people can level 1-90 without any problems, I cant go afk for 5 minutes before the bot runs into a wall or trys to pick up quests that arent there. I ended up leveling my paladin and warlock myself.
 
- license for 3 accounts you mean
- kicks are kicks (best ones) and cava are something else, don't mix them up, go with kicks (my opinion)
- bot doesnt do anything faster than you , but saves you from doing it, u can watch movie next to it, or you can level 3 at once
- bot attacks mobs in its path, is safer... then to be overwhelmed.
- not a waste of time and money, u don't buy only questing bot.
- advanced pc user has nothing to do with, you need to know the game as-well
- this bot i hope will never be free, why dont you go with a free one to compare results? and more... how many wow botters are using free bots to do questing? and more... do you wanna see wow full of bots, because that will happen.

i understand your anger as i was many times pissed off by this bot, but there isn't any other better. and there is very good support from devs, even better than wow have lol.
read a bit about this bot , read about questing profiles and plugins and you will be much better. if you don't wanna read a bit then yes this bot is awfull for you .
 
Skeletonboy , either you set it up completely wrong or there is something else wrong on your end.
Sometimes the pathing bugs yeah that I notice, but it rarely occurs, I have had no problems running my new Shammy from 1-20 completely afk for example.

What new members come here and dont understand is that you have to actually learn yourself how to optimally use the bot, it does the job for you out of the box mostly
but if you take some time and read threads you'll find that there are lots of helpful plugins or even better than the standard routines that the original zip-file brings.

One thing I've found - leveling different classes are not equal. Hunter classes should be pretty fast, but it's often complained about in the forums. Priests and mages to a certain extent have been more difficult for me to level than say pally, druid, or dk.
 
Well, its only logical that clothies are tougher to level since they're more squishy compared to a plate-user or a hybrid like the druid.
 
Your crazy I lvled every toon and spec with kick's profile pack and it worked fine every now and then i might have to do a quest for it but other then that i agree is about 85% AFK

10 hrs I was 60ish BTW
 
Ok, I downloaded actual Kicks, not Cava. Installed it, seem to have loaded the stuff, but still have the problem - it shows an error and can not use flying taxi to next quest spot.
 
I leveled a warrior to 80 in less than a minute. Scroll of Ressurection FTW!
 
Yay, it started to work, I can't believe it. xD The kicks loaded. I must apply for PhD in Computer Science for making it work somehow. Yay!
 
ok, I tested Kick's plugin for a minute and here's my say. It's awesome. I have yet to feel experience any stucks or things like that, but after Cava the difference is quite noticeable. The bot engages the aggroed mobs (unlike kamikadze in Cava), defends himself, strikes back. The questing goes smoothly. Damn, he even runs on nicely optimized shortest routes.
So to anyone out there having issues with quest leveling - please disregard Cava's plugin if you are using it and try Kick's. It helped me.
Oh, and on this note I am happy to say that I am extending by license tonight - gonna buy 1st month sub and see what happens. If I don't get banned from WoW and manage to earn some goldie - will definitely get 3 life-time licenses.

Ok, you gotta stop trying to use buzzwords you don't understand. It's... just painful to watch.

Why you were probably stuck at a flight master for a while was that the program uses meshes for navigation, and they must be downloaded by the program itself to be used. So if it is your first time using the bot, those meshes are gonna take bit to load, and they always seem to start downloading after the bot updates known flight nodes.

That said, sometimes the bot will seem to stop and it will need a little... 'nudge' to get it working again. This can be something as simple as completing a quest for the bot, opening/closing a dialog window, or even something as simple as moving a couple steps forward.

Be patient, learn the program and all its subtle intricacies. If you want to bot for a long time (i.e. without getting caught), you're going to have to really get to know the program and how it works. Spend time reading around these forums, it's nearly always time well spent.

Another tip - any time you get a new profile (like those in the kicks profile pack), expect to spend some time watching it to see how it works. That goes for questing, grinding, and gathering profiles. You want to know where any trouble spots are so that you can save yourself getting banned.
 
OP licenses are not per computer, but per bot run. Hence 1pc->10 bots/acc-> 10 keys... not 3PC->300 bots/acc-> 3 keys
 
Leveled with Cava and kicks perfectly fine. Cava got me up to 60 within 24 hours. Kicks leveled the rest to 90 in about a day or two. Works quite well with me. Must be your end.
 
Yet more complaints while not posting a log or trying to get help.
I've been running questing and I've only had 1 minor hiccup that I've already reported and is being investigated.

If you need help, post in the support forum with a log attached so we can see what's wrong.
