About opening or not opening chests

Hello guys, i noticed in the Settings of the characters (the .XML files) the opening of the chests by default is "false", so i'm wondering if the developers set it like that we should leave it false ?
Basically the question is if is more "safe" leaving it like this or we can turn it "true" in order for our bots to loot chests as well ?
Sorry if my questions seems stupid but i wold like to bot as safe possible i can

You can set it to True. Safety is not an issue with this. It matters not if it is True or False.

For those that are making runs for XP, then they would have that as False, but for GPH and items, you want it set to True
