First, sorry for my english. Second... if okeshode, or other, make a bannable offense, the ban will be permanent? This time all end fine, but next time Demonbuddy would be closed for this, all the work done directly to trash. Maybe some minutes between hours of development to read the rules and the situation between Bossland and Blizzard...

Redistributing Demonbuddy.exe in Germany is against the law + lawyers blizzard = Bossland R.I.P. (demonbuddy at least)

The ban has already been lifted per Bossland's instructions. The initial ban was because the redistribution of DB Binaries puts the users at risk, is against Germany's laws, and puts Bossland at risk.

In terms of the risk to users, has the damage been done already or has become a non-issue?

Though there has been no official announcement on the subject, I personally checked the binaries that were posted and found nothing malicious. My personal opinion is that while there was a potential risk to users, there was no actual risk at the time and as long as the no-binaries-allowed rule is followed, users should be fine.

I would advise that DB users ensure they always get DB from this website's official links and nowhere else.

There's potential risk in everything. Bossland's server could be compromised and distribute malware to all of us...
lol
