[A1 - Inferno] Champion-Farming

for all those barbs trying to do this the only thing that slowed me up was desecrators (that and the fact that WOtb would just go off any old time.) but i switched to the overpower reflect and ignore pain reflect, i have 2k loh and now desecrator kills themselves. i dual wield too. went from shield to dual wield.
the only thing that does kill me now is the salvager. and also desecrator + frozen + arcane
I have never died yet with my barb :P
 
I don't die on my barb at all.

970 RA
6800 Armour
400 LoH
20% Block
38k HP
14k DPS

Things get fun though with shielding packs - if all 3 shield at once he runs off and pulls another elite pack - looks pimp when he gets them down though.

Most I've seen him pull is 2 blue packs and 1 yellow simultaneously

I run MoE - backlash, SW - cyclone, thunderclap, blind, heal, ascension

I rarely make it across the last map, though (mostly because I have profile restarter set to restart after 2 deaths, bc tends to get stuck after dying)

Its not the waypoints, is the navigation system on DB. It will accually make a HOP path that goes into terrain. So until this is fixed we cant really do anything when the paths getting narrow.

Edit: It does the same in Northern Highlands, thats one of the reasons we got it taken out.

The bot struggles with the nav server in Festering Woods. It misses orange portals a lot, causing it to get stuck at various places.

Nothing we could do about that for now however.

You can use version without festering woods if u dont like that bit.
For me i like festering woods. and those to you that dont you can use the previous versions.
and to those other warriors not dying are you running with Magic find?
cause those stats are leet with MF!.

ive changed my gear around a bit to run with 30kdps haha. seems to be a fun so far.
 
2 x 1-hander, 2-hander or 1-hander and shield ?

1 hander + shield:

to reach 50 block , stormshield + lantern ring + helem of command
to reach 1k resists + look for 100 resist per item (for monk 60 all, 40 other, for barb go for 60 per item all resists + passive)
crit chance is for me 1 ring max (6%), gloves (10%), bracers (6%) helem (6%), shield (4%) and neck the rest :))
LOH is 800 for weapon + 200 each per ring
crit damage on neck + 100% gem in weapon.

any questions just holla! :)
 
I seem to get stuck a lot at Leoric's Manor. The bot paces back and forth on the stairs, I have the unstuck plugin, but its not doing anything about it.

I also have that, I'm not sure if I have it installed in the correct place. I threw it into my plugin folder, but i can't see it in the plugin tab on DB.
Then you haven't installed it in the right place! Re-read the post with the plugin attached, it has instructions on where to put it, but basically if it's in the correct place then you should have the file "GilesIgnoreStuff.cs" in a folder called "GilesIgnoreStuff" which is inside a "Plugins" folder inside of the DemonBuddy folder. Eg;
C:\DemonBuddy\Plugins\GilesIgnoreStuff\GilesIgnoreStuff.cs
 
Giles! great work with your plugin, thanks. Can you imagine to update it, so the ignored stuff can also be monsters? As a caster (wizard) I would need it for this profile to not get killed by poison trees or get stuck by casting on ravenous dead while they are not in the line of sight.
 
What do you guys this of the reworked unstucker in the new .180? Does it feel like this profile is running smoother or even more messed up?

The built-in unstucker is currently almost entirely useless, and at worst even dangerous. I've found that if the bot chases a monster around a corner, and then tries to get back to the last moveto point (which is around a small corner), the "unstucker" moves a tiny distance left and right, over and over again - never trying to change the movement direction or distance, and so it remains stuck but repeating a short movement indefinitely - an action which would be incredibly easy for Blizzard to pickup on server-side when repeated for large periods of time.

what is the Nav server? Cant see the navigation having anything to do with the login server? The best method to fix the Cemetery shrine stuck is propably to change the "Scarry Place 4" in the XML or just to disable shrines, like I mentioned before.
To disable shrines you go to GilesIgnoreStuff.cs and comment out the IF statement at line 63.
