[A1 - Inferno] Champion-Farming

Did you try including DEFILED CRYPT (3 dungeons in the Cemetery of the Forsaken) - on average those 3 short dungeons have 5-6 elite packs. Basically the best farming spot in act1, not counting Festering Woods.

If you did try including the crypts, what was the biggest problem?

Its impossible at the moment to Include randomized dungeons!
 
Man all i can say is i have no idea what blizzard is thinking when they make the loot rules for this game.
i have 180mf. i have salvaged over 200 yellows over the last 12 hours. Got 3 decent items. surely with 180% unbuffed MF and running this quite well its just gobsmaking.
got 3 legendaries. of course all poo. but ive started recieving firery brimstone from salvaging yellows. got 2 just then lol.
How hard do you have to farm to find a 1200 dps 1 hander? do they even exist? im starting to think no.
Sooner or later i gotta find osmething i guess.
 
Getting stuck(s) around the area in festering woods where there's a pit, and in it are those flying mini dragon monster thingys.

even after the mobs come out and are killed it still gets stuck.

What version u using? I had several stuck problems in festrering woods but since i updated to .176 doesnt seem to happens anymore
 
Updated my "Ignore Lootable Objects" plugin, just to make it a bit more resilient to problems. It now has a bit of a "catch-all" - basically any object that ISN'T a useful shrine (all shrines except +experience shrines) will be ignored. Previously I had a list of objects to ignore and had to add to it when new objects were found. Please see the original post for an updated download (post #64 of this thread)!

Part of the reason for this is to see if certain objects were being treated as something lootable "under the map" (like the animated crows, or some sound-trigger) as random spawns on certain points of the map, causing annoying stuck errors, so the updated plugin will rule out any possibility of that happening!

Is it updated version of GilesIgnoreStuffs 1.2? or the same?
 
I'm using GillesStashreplacer that replace DB own town run didnt get to stash yet will let u know tho shouldnt be a problem

Just updated, it's getting stuck @ cemetery of the forsaken now.

Profile is awesome but my barb keep geting stuck on the middle of the battle lol, any clues?
 
Yeah getting same problems festering woods and other random places... Well this isnt a problem from profile but DB nav i think so nothing we can really do :s
 
Im working on a abit few changes on the festering part. Im also working on make a new northern highlands. Hopefully we can make something great out of it.

What do you guys thinking of making a champion profile for Act2 aswell?

Act2 elites seems to be more spread out, and to be honest, I don't think the bot can survive act2 arcane sentries and devastations at its current state.

It would need some sort of avoidance integration when the DB team decides to add it, because I believe the bot can detect things like arcane sentries, as I remember there was a bug in one of the revisions where the bot kept attacking arcane sentries thinking they're mobs.
But if we're dreaming out loud, then random dungeon support would be best, though I don't know how that would work with the current way point system.

That triangulation technique sounds really good; DB is definitely holding back profiles like this.

As it is, I have replaced WotB with ignore pain, just so I could survive some of the elite affixes (standing on top of a double stacked arcane sentry). Act2 would be a lot harder, and since we can't really resume the profile in anyway (have to leave game), kind of defeats the purpose of farming with 5 stack.

It would take a really well geared barb to do something like that.

As a side note, I've been thinking that maybe 2 hander barbs could also farm with this profile, assuming they can fix the WotB being used on elites only; 2 hander barbs would kill mobs a lot faster, subject to less deaths potentially.
 
I'm having a really hard time with those elite grotesque, especially when they're arcane enchanted. I keep on getting knocked back so I can't hit anything to regain life. Any ideas?
