[ A1 ] Champion-hunting with a bot - guide
Hello, we've got alot of requests lately how to build your hero for the bot to hunt champions in act1.
So this is the reason why i'm doing this guide.
I. Setup the bot
At the moment you need some tools for the bot to work properly.
First plugin you need is
Giles Monster Priority Changer
This plugin makes your bot run smoother by not run after normal monsters that are really far away.
This plugin doesnt make your area to detect Elites, Champions or Rares smaller.
It will simply keep you on the road, so you doesnt crash and burn.
Second plugin you need is
Giles World Object Handler
This plugin makes your bot to not give a crap in all the lootable junk like corpses.
Third plugin you need is
Profile Restarter by grim2594
This plugin restart the profile if you get into idle, it also can help you to restart the profile if you die.
Its a must if you want to run the bot unattended for a longer period of time.
Looting
You have atm two different loot systems to work with.
Either you use Giles Stash % Loot Rule Replacer or you could use DBs built in system.
If you are going to use Giles Stash % Loot Rule Replacer. I recommend that you use this loot rule.
If you are going to use DBs built in system, there are various of loot rules here that you can take look at and just pick the one you feel fit you the best.
Combat routine
I personally use Belphegor. Though i've updated to the latest test version, which you can find here.
There is other routines out there but i've never tried them out. So nothing I can recommend.
II. Magic Find
Magic finding, this is probably one of the reasons you are here right now. Maybe you have farmed Sarkoth too much, or this is your first time setting the bot up.
There are imporant information about MF that you might want to know about when you are farming with nephalem buff.
Statistics documented in this project. Shows that NV buff have a negative effect on MF.
Because of the basic fact that you are guaranteed a rare.
The increase of rare drops are not that great that you would want to sacrifice speed and effectiveness to the increased amout of rare drops.
MF still have the same increase on legendarys, and thats why this is still worth you while.
But remember, its better to get efficient farm gear without MF and upgrade piece by piece then to run with half ass MF gear that you just dies in.
III. Setup the gear
For some people this is the hardest part, but it doesnt have to be.
First off YOU have to decide how much money you want to put on you char.
Second off YOU have to decide if you are going to run with MF and if so, how much.
The minimum i would say is.
This is from gear:
Build:[Barb]
14k DMG
0% extra Crit
0% extra Crit dmg
0% extra Attack speed
1400 Life on hit
14% block
35000 HP
9500 Armor
750 All resist
0 MF
As you see, this is not great stats and im not saying this would run flawlessly, but it would run.
What i would aim for multi bot farming and for completely cost effectiveness.
This is from gear:
Build:[Barb]
16k-20k DMG
5-15% extra Crit
40-75% extra Crit dmg
0% extra Attack speed
1600 Life on hit
14% block (block doesnt really mather i just need to be a ilvl63 shield)
42000+ HP (the more the better, remember that %life exist if you are struggling to find decent vita gear to decent price)
10900-11500 Armor
900 All resist
75-125% MF
As you see i aim for quite low MF but i explained above, in section 2 how NV buff have a negative value on MF
and if you are going to multi bot farm for RMAH or be cost effective. You want to find Rare gozu drops which makes your payday.
One Million Challange
I made it, i got a pretty successful barb for only one million. Read more here...
Stats above those i've posted here are totaly overrated and im sure that if you got better thats then this. You are not gonna need my help.
I have yet to gear my monk for this, but maybe an experienced monk can comment here so i just can quote to.
xenohadden have shared his monk build
For those Wizards out there i suggest looking to this build.
Seems like he knows what hes talking about and you can ask questions to him about what gear to use on a wizard to complete A1 champ hunting.
IIII. Thank you, hope you liked it and...
Special thanks to:
xenohadden for sharing his monk build.
HB6705F02 for presenting the community a way to farm champions as a wizard.

xenohadden have shared his monk build
as a monk i'm farming this non stop with 0 deaths.
my gear is as follows:
47% block. 3 items make this up (sacred shield 28%, helm of command 8% and justice lantern,11%)
1032 all resistance. done by duel stacking resistances with passive one with everything + time of need (i.e 60 all res + 40 fire on all gear)
36% crit chance (found on rings, shield, gloves, helem, bracers, amulet)
200% crit damage (gem in weapon 100% BOOM, rest can be found on rings, amulet, etc)
1k life on hit (would like it to be higher tbh, but most from weapon and some from my second ring)
1500 dex (get as much as you can on every item, 100 minimum really)
40k health (get a least 50 on every item, aim for 100 per item)
lastly fuck all over crappy stats, only other one worth a mention is Life per second, if you can get this as a final stat on items it starts to help. 100 - 200 per item is godly
hope this helps all monks. I'm crit built whirlwind spec btw. so fast main attack with Fists of thunder + thunderclap, with sweeping winds + cyclone = faceroll
