I have also tried on another section but doesn't seem like anyone could answer it, so I re-posted it here.

I am planning to get Honor Buddy to use with a single account at the moment and planning to expand to maybe up to 3 not for selling gold mainly personal use to make gold for myself or always have mats around, etc.

I have seen a lot of topics on the ban portion of the site and from the experienced users, I would like to know:

  1. When you're banned to they ban all the accounts within your battle.net account or only the license it was caught using bot?
  2. Right now all my accounts are within the same battle.net account does that have any impact on the previous question such as 1 account using bot automatically flag all the subsequent accounts?
  3. Given the above 2 questions are valid how should I proceed on having multiple accounts to bot in regards personal information, game time or credit card subscription, etc?

Now into the real deal I have an Athlon with fairly good configuration I've tried it before with ISBoxer and I can easily run 3~5 accounts depending on configuration and I believe a max of 3 using VM.

So here are a few questions:

  1. Should I always run each account on a separated virtual machine?
  2. If the above is valid, is there a safe limit of accounts per VM given you are able to run more than 1 per VM or should just keep 1 per VM?
  3. I am also using a V*P*N*(for some reason it doesn't let me write V*P*N without *) per VM so each have their own IP, but do you really need multiple IP's for up to 3 accounts or when would you start caring to split it?
  4. Is there any safety difference from running it on Windows 7 and above with 64bit against old OS's such as Windows XP 32bit?

Game wise question:
  • What account should I get to this goal? I mean I see a lot of people going for RAF if more than 1 account I can see the benefits in regards leveling as I use to level with ISBoxer but ultimately I would need to go MoP is there a best purchase combo or something around?

Any other information you could provide related to the above questions?

Thanks in advance.

Part 1
1.they only ban the specific account your botting on, NOT the entire battle.net account.
2. no they shouldnt get flagged, not unless your moving TONS of gold or items between all the accounts regularly.
3. it doesnt matter.

Part 2
1. it doesnt matter, you can run all the accounts you need without a vm.
2. you dont need a vm.
3. no you dont need separate ip's
4. we dont support windows xp anymore. if you want to run 32 or 64 its up to you, but honorbuddy only supports wow running in 32bit mode.

not sure what you mean about best combo.
just buy the accounts you need, but dont add the key till you need it.

Hi CodenameG,

Thank you very much for the fast answer, let me be a bit stubborn here:

- If I get to the point of running 5 accounts, on the same PC/IP wouldn't it have a higher chance that all the accounts would be flagged even if I bot for something like 3~5 hours daily with self made profiles that no one uses?

I mean, at least if I was checking a possible bot account the first thing I would check would be Key and IP to see any other related connections to that account to also investigate.

- The accounts would be mainly used to make gold(not for selling but for myself @ personal usage), as well as gathering mats when I need for any specific thing would you think this sort of actions would require any special care if I ever need to send either mats or gold to the main account?

Is there a safe way to execute this sort of trades even if I don't sell gold and what so ever given the accounts are all within the same battle.net?

its no one knows for sure, getting flagged depends more on what your doing then your setup.

most GM's wont go as far as to check your IP and connections from it. not unless you give them a reason to. gm's have jobs to do, they can check every account if one does get reported for being linked to other accounts.

i use a guild bank, the only wrong way would be tons of mailing in between accounts and tons of face to face trading between accounts.

no one knows, since only blizzard knows what blizzard is going to do.

Thanks a lot CodenameG I just got a 3 sessions for the time being and will be playing around with it on my pre-bc account that I have recently upgraded to MoP and see how it goes.

By the way why is V*P*N blocked from being written like ***?

because of legal reasons. related to honorbuddy use for german users.
