Hey Virus, can you give me a tip on how to make atleast 5k gold ? Does ores from Cata and LK sell well? Or should I go and get MOP ores, or maybe fishing? 5K gold a day would be perfect.

I know you asked Virus, but I thought I'd chime in here...

5k/day can be done in a few short hours of playing by hand. Hell, you can make 5k/day while doing daily quests in MoP just by gathering as you do whatever it is the Daily has you doing. At least in my experience, I don't need a bot (and the risk associated with it) for 5k/day.

To be honest buying an Battle chest and just useing it for guild bank is asking for a ban. I mean who buys an wow account these days and just have a level 1 char with a guild thats selling alot of mats?

I'm using my main account to sell all my mats and using professions. I'm doing it all by hand and not AH bot, i'm gonna put my bots on another computer tho to minimize the risk of loosing my main account. The risk is there and i don't really care that mutch i'm here for money .

Yea but it's still on the same IP then, aye they can't scan your main accounts pc then but yea. I'm still not convinced on the whole Put it in the gbank and take it out with your main.

In my experience yes you can make more by collecting for 10 hours/day... however like I said... If all you want is 5k/day (again in my exp) you can gather (ore/herbs) while you run your dailies in MoP. For me, botting is for making much more than 5k/day. Of course the more you bot, the higher the chance of being caught.

I don't think there is one single "best" way to do it that will never get you banned. Virus spells it out pretty clearly how he does it, and for the most part it seems to work for him. I do some of what he does, some of the guild bank thing, and some of my own mixing and matching to try to "launder" the gold before it gets to my main account.

I have been trading via Guild Bank like Virus for 2 years now without a single ban *knock knock knock* and it seems to be to be the best way to do it

I use a combination of Guild Bank method, the prospect enchant AH method, and I also sell to people that buy via COD. I also occasionally use a semi-complex method where I send resources to a trusted & known non-botter who will place on AH for me at a proper discount, and I will buy them myself using various accounts and re-list at the appropriate price to cover the initial AH fees and such. Sometimes this involves using the Cross-Faction AH so I am not buying the same moment he is posting for me. On my server the Booty Bay AH is very rarely used.
It's a pain in the arse, and it's probably going WAY to far to "launder" the resources and gold, but I haven't been banned yet.

Lastly... I actually hand play all of my accounts regularly at some point each day/week. Even if that means running a single Heroic 5 Man, or one LFR, or one set of Dailies... My feeling is that an account that only farms and never does anything other than farming, is just begging to be banned at some point. Even if you use the most complex method of random farming.

Why would you not just use Randombuddy... it would save you using profiles and you having to schedule them.

Maybe i've missed it at some point, but do you run a AH bot on the side, to get all your mats sold? I have a very hard time atm selling all my meta's e.g. and it takes alot of time taking them off AH and re-list them.

I make use of the Salesman from Inrego
It is pain in the ass selling all the mats by hand, but you will always get it done properly, when done by hand.
I think the Salesman Bot are a great AH bot

my stock clears so quick when using that. just leave it on 12hr a day (make sure you have it on during peak hours + weekends). just use it on a battlechest acct so if it gets banned you can just throw away and start another. i suggest stocking up on battle chests when they are on sale. its cheaper than paying a monthly sub just for an AH bot.

However, about the "only use with BC" thing, I am not of that opinion! Why would it be safer to use that?
I use my banker accounts that both are farming Skyshards, fish and doing HC's, and have done that for all my botting years, and my account have never been banned because of a AH bot

shit happens... in my situation - GM kill all bots (just online bots), then clear all mail and remove all mats and gold in guildbank. main char (not bot) don`t rerieve any warning. now iam use different IP`s for different group of bots, because there is risk lost all of your bots.

I don't see why you couldn't level 2 RaF accounts together, but you should be prepared to babysit the bot(s) quite a bit. One bot gets stuck enough as it is, let alone 2 following each other around.

When one gets stuck, do a quest quicker or something third, they simply get too far from each other, and will not get the RAF benefits

skyshard farming , would you explain how this is profitable please .

Skyshard = rare mount. Sells 40k+ depending on server. Also, you get a decent amount of motes of harmony, which you can convert to lucrative mats like golden lotus for gold. The gold/hour is really low, but the ban rate is much much lower than GB2.

As Dienofail says, you will be able to sell the mount kill on Ownedcore or in game for around 40-60k gold or 25-50? so that is better than the banker account just sit still

So from what I've read, the best thing to do is have a vanilla account as guildmaster and the guild filled with bots, deposit stuff in the guildbank. That way my guild master account which I dont bot on has a low to no chance of being banned.

No, just have a banker account that do other things than just farm. Use a MoP account and do some HC's here and then.
All the other things you say are correct Sure, I you get your banker/main account banned, it is a bigger loss than a BC account

As El Fuego states it is not that hard to get 5k in a day
But if you want a bot to do the boring stuff, just farm some fish and herbs/mines, then you should be good to go
