A Barb, Monk, And WD Enter Into A Race...

So, I have been quite bored with botting. Yes the money is exciting, but some days it just seems like work to manage them. I decided, for my own benefit and enjoyment to race three of them. I chose a WD, Monk, and Barb because they are in my opinion, the best inferno mp0 farmers. They all run the same profile in act 3 and all have equal running time. they are either all stopped, or all running.

My goal was to race them to PL 100 and see which one has made the most gold and fastest to 100 of course.
I know, my system is not 100 percent perfect, but here is what I set them up with and what i have considered.

Money Spent Per Character
20-25m
I tried to get them exactly the same, but that was quite difficult so I gave myself a 5m leeway.

Stats I considered. Bare Minimum, none have below this, and they vary above it slightly from char to char
2k+ Mainstat
30k+ hp
70k unbuffed DPS
500+ AR
Lifesteal

Deaths per hour, 0 to 2 per hour. Its closer to 0-1 because of some heavy internet usage i have been doing the past few days.

Race Position so far
Monk - 62
WD - 60
Barb - 59

Gold Per hour At Current Levels

Monk - 340-350k
WD - 370-390k
Barb - 280-300k

Current Goldfind All
240 +/- 10

Pickup Radius
Monk - 22
WD - 43
Barb - 17
I am not saying this or that is better. These are just my findings and you can evaluate them how you want.
 
kinda interesting the WD has 50 perceny more PUR but only 10percent more gold...thought the ratio would be higher

i thought this too, but i guess somewhere in between 22 and 43, im guessing ~27 is the point where anything more is worthless because of it already covering all the gold that would be dropped anyway

I was quite surprised that the monk or wd didnt completely outlevel the barb, but he is still hanging in their a bit
 
Interesting. Your barb is trash and makes other barbs look bad =/
 
You shouldn't, unless you have fury problems and aren't always sprinting everywhere. If that's the case then you spent the gold for the wrong items. Those toon stats are fine but output looks low. Sorry trash was a rather offensive word, I should of used "not optimal."

Which toon do you normally bot with? not for fun but profit.
 
this is a 20-25m bot that dies roughly 1 time per hour, with 17 pickup radius, i don't get your question
 
When you bot for money, do you bot with Monk, Barb, or WD?

Also, did you 5piece IK your barb?


Edit; nvm I've stumbled across some of your other posts. You bot Monk for profit. This is probably why your barb falling behind. Put 5 piece IK on barb and your fury will never be the same. Barbs main advantage is +64% movement speed ALL THE TIME. 5 piece IK takes away the need for unforgiving passive. Once again sorry, trash was a harsh word I was thinking in different languages translating it.

i only bot for money. i obviously have at least one of each considering the race.
and i would never 5 peice ik a barb. at max 2-3 ik, mixed with2-3 blackthorns to get both bonuses

This. You could put together a cheap (but decent) 5 or 6 piece Ik set for under 40M and it would be a whole lot better
 
damn monks are that good for botting eh? even when you upgrade them, each upgrade is significant like a 4 pc innas,. 4 pc innas is like giving you a free bell every 20 seconds, cause you wont be spending it on vortex.

but when you upgrade barbs its not that significant, sure higher dps and tankier but its mp0, its already very easy to faceroll mp 0.

And i hope you know, that wouldnt fit the required rules of the race. its 20-25m only
 
I also have a monk and a barb but the gear difference is in favor to the barb, it also has 5 IK set pieces, monk has 4 innas, with a lot cheaper gear than the barb. monk shits on my barb when i race them, but the race im doing isnt this big.

only like, act 3 runs and see who finishes first, best of 5. etc etc

also, my barb bot has good gems, stars/flawless stars and 2 perfect star emeralds for weapon. and I paid 16m for main hand, and another 16m for offhand. my barb's gear worth is probably more than 50 mil

while my monk is only around 13+ mil of gear and flawless square gems, with 1 star gem on weapon.

still the monk beats barb when its racing.

Ok, for 25m you could do an inexpensive 5 piece and maybe a cheap bul-kathos set too. Still need that 5 piece to make WW work right and keep your fury full so you are moving at full speed most of the time without having to sacrifice your good passives.

its true that 64% movement speed all the time is nice when you look at it that way, but realize too that the bot doesnt really act like a human where if i were to manually play my barb, i wouldnt stop to kill the creeps and just run towards them and let the
sprint kill them, the bot actually stops and stay there for a while before it moves out of a certain area. but monks however can just 1 shot everything on the screen even elites with wave of light explosive light, the radius of it is so huge and
the aoe is like full screen! does 1mil + damage to everything with my shitty 1.2k dps skorn.

sure, barbs get 64% move speed all the time but its weakness is for botting, it stops to fight mobs, takes too long to kill elites specially if the elites are running around too much
monks only have 34% movespeed but they use that move speed very well, cause they dont have to stop and fight for too long therefore more movement going around, + they have a tele to mob spell which also helps the movement.

my conclusion is that barbs are the best leveling class if you are playing manually, monk however is the best when botting.
 
k, well i don't have time to argue, for everyone that is posting, try to keep it flame free, its for a discussion. these are just my results, in my race
 
^eh, i dont think anyone is flaming, we're having a good educational discussion. people might disagree on some posts but no one is going out of their way to flame somebody.

yeah, by try to "keep it" flame free, i was implying that it was flame free, and to keep it that way :)
