I fully agree with StefanKFG's first post. I personally went with an ASROCK Z77 board because I really like their UEFI but it shouldn't really matter in the end.

sorry for the dumb question, but what is the usual way to connect 2 PC's with 1 Screen?
the best solution would also be if just 1 mouse/keyboard is needed, maybe teamviewer again?

Please tell if you are running vms or just multiclient, it's a big difference. Vms with d3 and bot eat 1.5-2x more resources.

maybe ram but surely not cpu. id say with a modern cpu you have 20% overhead at max.

btw im running 9 vms on a 8350 with no issues whole system would no cost more then 500-600 euros..

im running i5 3570k oc to 4.4 on asrock extreme4 and im at 80% with 8 clients and isboxer.

hopefully im doing something wrong, but i cant figure out what it is if so.

also, i was under the impression i7 3770 could handle 12-15 oc'd and i7 3930 20+ ... but there's no telling what settings that is or how they handle displaying it. need some guys with big rigs to help with some info.

Optimize your windows, optimize your Graphiccard-settings, optimize your D3prefs. Thats all. And u need a rly fast SSD like Crucial.

Edit: As a reference: i5 oc can handle easy 15 bots and i7 easy 30+ bots. All below the system is build wrong I have postet a few threads in the past setting up nice systems with pictures. Try the search. Dunno if they already exist or deleted. But all the infos u can read in the guide-section. Check the vmware-guides to optimize everything. A clean win7 ultimate have max 34-36 running tasks. Not 50, not 100...

amd 6300 <-- this is the bottleneck. So it doesn't matter what GPU u have for 9 bots I guess, make sure you buy a proper CPU and gg
