80-85 Rogue leveling advice

Hey!
I'm leveling a Rogue, using Kick's questing profiles. I 've been using these profiles from lvl 1, and they worked very well. (I had to help the bot manually several times, but the overall XP was awesome).
Now, I'm staring with Hyjal, and have a problem: the bot dies A LOT. I have full heirlooms and LK greens (I'm just starting Hyjal) and the bot can't handle the most basic enemies... I mean, my char has 15K HP, and the average enemy has 30K... Besides, I'm using singular CC, so, the bot doesn't fight like a Rogue... it believes he's a warrior, he fights "face to face", and sadly, he dies...
I left it overnight, and in 8 hours it only gained half a level... It wasn't stuck or anything when i found itthis morning. It was questing... So, i stayed there and watched it die... again, and again, and again...
So, I have a couple of questions:
1) Is there any other CC but singular I can use while leveling? Some CC that takes advantage of the Rogue's features... such as stealth, back-stab, etc.
2) What's the best gear for a lvl 80 Rogue I can buy with GOLD? (have LOTS).
If you leveled a Rogue thru questing, and have other advices, I will be very appreciated if you share them with me.

I would just use archbuddy to 85 and then buy the leather pvp blues.
 
try doing BGs. you'll have honor for when you ding, too
 
Im currently leveling the same thing too. what spec are you leveling as? im doing sub atm.
 
use sub when using singular its seriously awesome and i too have the same problem. i'd suggest you level it by hand till you get level 82 with good gear then let the bot run till 84 and then finally do the dungeons
 
Try going to the rogue CC sub forum, it's entirely possible you might find a different rogue CC there...

I used questing and leveled as combat. Things were sketchy the first few quests, but once I'd equipped some quest rewards it got much easier. Alternatively, if you have the gold, you could buy some Cata BoEs. (though those are usually pricy due to so many Scroll 80s)

Hand leveling to 82 is also a decent option, as it should take less than 2 hours. Or soften that number a bit by arch grinding.
 
I need to do quests because i'm leveling the toon for the guild archievement, one member of each race for every class. This is to unlock the 8th tab on the guild back. And for that achievement, the toon needs to be honored. So, while i level up, i raise its reputation with the guild thru quests... I'm not gonna level it thru ARCH or BG...
But i'm interested on what LowKey said before... From 80 to 82, hand-leveled, less than two hours.......................... HOW??????????????????????

By the way, I'm leveling with a COMBAT spec. I don't mind switching... in fact, i don't know how to use any of the specs...
 
Do quests in hyjal till you hit 82. Barely takes any time at all. With BoAs and guild perks at least.
