What do you use for 80-85 AFK'ing?

This ^^ almost exactly! Done with all 10 classes on ally server, now running through horde server. (although if I am going to be near pc for a while I'll do deepholm and TH kicks quests too as its quicker)
 
Archaeology is not 100% afkable, due to stucks.

I would say BGbuddy is the only 100% afk thing. But leveling with Kick's profile is 100% recommended from my side.
 
If you blacklist the right locations in Kaimdor and your Horde you can do Archaeology from 80-85 with no stucks. I do it alot. I think there are 2 specific locations i had to BL.

I have never bought any Cata greens on any of my chars and I never encounter any problems in the new zone Im going to, be it Hyjal, Uldum or Twilight :) The first quests are specifically formed so that you get some new gear fast and can continue without any difficulties.

If you use MCFly's Unstuck Plugin, you can 100% afk it in the Easter Kingdoms, Kalimdor too, never tested it there.
 
I did all mine 60-85 with archaeology. My 85 DK is still wearing the lvl 58 DK gear.
 
If you need 80-85 100% AFK you should use Grinding imo.
Since Questing isn't 100% AFKable.
 
Dungeonbuddy needs an update so you can reque without a party. If they release a fix I'm sure alot of people will grind Instances. Instancebuddy isn't supported anymore, unfortunately. So untill there's a fix for Dungeonbuddy I believe Arch or BG's are the only ones 100% afk. I run Kick's profiles and help them a bit when necessary till 84, then just BGbuddy so I have 4k Honorpoints when I hit 85.
 
Leveling 80-85 with instances isn't advisable. The xp is pretty weak, and the dungeons aren't currently 100% AFKable. If you're able to bot on a Call to Arms weekend, that is a pretty efficient way of leveling, high xp on wins. 80-82 is best with questing though.
 
people saying that they get owned with their LK gear doing 80-82 quests - spend about 10-20 mins doing the first couple of quests in hyjal manually and you will get gear that boosts your toons survivability by a lot and then just afk the rest of hyjal
 
This is what i do:
80-82 Hyjal entirely [100% AFKable]
82-84 Archeology-BGs [100% AFKable]
84-85 Twilight. Babysitting just because is so damn fast compare to anything else plus i get nice gear for Heroics/BGs

I've read some posts about overpopulated bgs with BGBuddies, but i believe this is happening in EU. Rarely see other char doing the same thing than mines in bgs.
 
no not a cc issue its more of the way every other bot followers and stays at each hotspot in bgs....
