8 year old account Perma banned today RIP wow

Well my 2 cents are when my 650 Ilvl Warlock is in the top 3 for dps in Ashran and the opposing team melts when I show up its a pretty good assumption someone will complain about it and report me.

I quit playing that beast for this reason, but I do LOVE just running a CR and hand movement to relieve the stresses of a hard day IRL. I have also just puased the routine on my healer so as not to bring attention as well.

I only had Enyo doing dps rotation, everything else from interupting to trinket use and big cooldowns was done by me. So no 1ms interupt or cc breakers. I never sold gold, everything i earned was used by me ingame (didn't use wow tokens). Still got banned, probably because of rotation, don't know what else could it be.

Anyhow, i'm gonna switch my ethernet card for another one it's only 10€, change hardware id's, new windows installation and so on and probably buy new fresh account

Huh, that really sucks for you. I'm still waiting for my main account to get unbanned from the 6 months ban wave so I can get back to playing. If they do another ban wave as the one they did a few months ago and I get perma banned on that account aswell I'm going to quit completely too. WoW just isn't fun without a bot.

Your post history right before the banwave (like most 6 month bans who said they "only used Combat Routines"), shows you used Gathering profiles, aka Click To Move, aka left the same signature as every other person who used them prior and got caught in the wave. If you're going to claim you botted as safely as possible (ironic anyway), you need to be more thorough and honest with what you actually used HB for. It sends conflicting information when you or someone in your position tells one person or multiple people that CRs and 100% supervision got you banned, when in reality, you were leaving signatures all over the place with other botbases prior to your ban.

I had multiple accounts m8, my main was only for PvP and used with Enyo. My other accounts were used to farm stuff, that's all. Any yes, i used to bot on my main account in MoP, never got caught or suspended, then i had a brake on that account just to return in WoD with Enyo. Didn't want to mislead anyone just had multiple accounts that i didn't even run on same PC (same IP tho)

Blizz tracks that stuff... i've done many setups, but in the end... if 1 acct benefits from many other bots, that acct is associated and bam... gone.

I have had over 20 accts banned all in 1 day, except the main.

Then one day... bam, everything. I had over 18k achievement points. Since I kind of made a profile for anything I did and then donated that to the community.

Sorry to hear that bro, I know how bad it feels, my main account (6 years old) was banned I wanted to cry.
I can tell you that I emailed and tried every single thing to un-ban it, nothing helped, I pushed it too far botting back then.

but i can tell you one thing, if YOU did not decide to leave wow, you WILL come back to play trust me on this one
(perma banned 4 times, but now i know better, bot on one and keep one safe)

i just realized today if I make a new account and attach it to my bnet I still have my pets mount acheve points and everything. with that in mind I might make a new account a RaF with a RL buddy to 100 fast and just do manual pvp for fun. " I do lose all the gold and chars ive have for years and years

from everything ive now read seems maybe I was just EPIC lucky cause I went ham sandwich in RBG dungs raids LFR world pvp about everything BUT farming profiles and AH bots for the whole time since ive had this bot " some times I botted for 3-4 days constantly <-- farming rbgs dungeons or whatever. I found for dungeons if I was healer or dps and I am like 100+ilvl above needed ilvl for it no one usually says anything cause I basically carry the dungeon

I did have few infractions for other things "abuse of game mechanics- BRF boss glitched on us ad we got free loot why we get a 2 day ban for that is beyond me wasn't our glitch it was in game glitch"

"most my infractions were 3+ years ago only 1 chat and that in game glitch were most and even those were while ago"
but I never in the whole 8 years had a ban for 3rd party botting unless it was like 6-7 years ago and I just don't remember
and like 80% my infractions over the years were chat related cause I used chat macros or other things like that. linking I think in total I got maybe 3 or 4 chat related infractions


one thing I did recently do that I never did in the past was I right clicked reported few people <-- might have flagged myself and dug my own grave

I only ever used Enyo/Enyo with either Millz or TuanHa CR's, managed all my own movement, CD's, Trinkets, everything. It just fired my base rotation for me.

A lot of those people also forgot to disable some of the Click to Move or LUA/Chat outputs of those botbases and CRs. The ones that announced interrupts in heavy text strings (spammed basically), or memory wrote into WoW to highlight some of the events the CR was handling. Even some people running the Glad Suite CRs forgot to turn off the LUA high risk stuff that has a specific note saying it's high risk. It was a combination of a lot of things for people who got banned running strictly CRs with manual movement, but those little things did contribute to them getting caught along with whatever player reports they might have accumulated and whatever "detection" might have taken place.

Long story short, I commented on that guy's post specifically because he, like many other "I only used CRs" botters, had a history on some account of using Gathering/BG/Dungeon farming bots which leave a very detectable and very distinct signature behind. They used the most widely reported/banned bots imaginable and most failed to be completely honest about it when they were posting their ban reports, or flat out forgot they'd used them and potentially flagged themselves. I was caught in the same wave, and only used CRs + manual movement myself. Strictly Glad Suite + disabling all the added Enyo stuff (Chat Output & Click To Move) on every release, but I attributed my own ban to possible reports while gearing characters in 2s and the "detection" that happened prior to the wave. I learned my lesson and have forsaken Arenas altogether while running the CRs, even for gearing. I can endure Assram if it means keeping my account under the radar and RBGs have a much lower rick given there's so much going on between both teams.

I got banned for six months on my side ...
I had only been using the bot in garrison since a few weeks when I got banned.
The only reason i think I did not get a perma ban is because my account is from BC ... coz six months, that's a lot !! Three more weeks to go !
I won't bot on that account again ^^"

Tbh I just quit, all I did was let my bot run old raids for mounts, or farm gold, or level chars. I was not even playing anymore. I've been playing since 2005, and I've seen this game go downhill the last years.
I'm 26 years old now, time to grow up!

i dont think age matters if u have ur life under control im 24 not far form you and i play from time to time and sometime alot but i get ur point wow been going downhill alot we just need a wow killer , mabye we will get it soon ( kappa ).

I used HB mostly for fishing and archeology. I did try the other modules, just for the purpose of testing it out, but no more than once. Never on pvp.
Since WoD hit, i used the bot for fishing Lunkers.
I did try to fish manually, but since the drop rate for me with 1000+ fishing level was around 40min per fish, i gave up and botted.
That was my main account, with 11 characters.

Tbh, i knew botting was dangerous, but i never thought i would get a 6month ban on first offense, since i had never had any sort of ban / suspension before over the course of 6 years. (been only been botting for the last year).

And not over something as frivolous as fishing.

But anyway, the deed is done, and i'm just hoping to get my account back in 1 month, and tbh i never plan to use a bot again.
40min for a fish is stupid, but 6 month away from my main account is even more...

I'm just hoping we will REALLY get our accounts back. My sixth sense is telling me Blizz still might pull something out of their sleeves just as 13/11 is coming.
I dunno.. I'm just afraid i won't get my account back for some reason :/
