Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

This suspension happened because one or more characters on the account were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for ""real-world"" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.

Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing the account instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member, or leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. I only botted one night with Honorbuddy and my account is suspended. That was two days ago now, I haven't done any exploiting (Buying gold or selling).
 
You got lucky, somebody must have reported you.

Whatever your bot did was probably looking bottish.
 
Why ban me 2-3 days after woulds though? I was on when realms came up and it was all sweet.
 
Why would they perma ban for first time player report? that doesn't make any sense.
Also if you get reported for botting you get the "3rd party software thing" I think the abuse economy thing is something else, like spamming AH or something.
Ofc, I'm not expert. Just pretty sure they don't easily permaban.

What I thought, I also had password reset.
 
same here man... banned suntil saturday... botting around no people so cant have been reports...
 
Economy Abuse is an umbrella term which includes possible botting.
