Account Name: &&&&

Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized ***** Programs ("Hacks")

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized ***** program, also known as a "hack.". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=25455

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at http://us.blizzard.com/company/legal/index.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please submit an in-game petition or fill the contact email form at http://us.blizzard.com/support/webform.xml?locale=en_US. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. If you are unable to access your account due to the password being changed, please visit our Login Support site here: https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html

For any disputes of this action or further information on Exploitive Activity, please visit the Exploitative Activity FAQ and contact page here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/exploitfaq

Well I sent in a email and asked specifically what was the "hack" that i was supposedly using. I then called billing and asked them what was up....like I stated I babysat my account and I got no whispers at all from anyone about anything. The billing guy said it "looked like my account got hacked" as it looked like one of my characters on the account was grinding mobs and using 3rd party software. I asked him if he has ever leveled a character in STV since cata came out because that is all you do in quest in STV is run around killing things for drops and for your little raptor dude to eat... and he said no and escalated it to a GM. 3 hours later I got a email saying the account was unlocked. I will call back billing when they open up and get a day credit on my account also, as the billing rep I talked to said let us know how long you are locked out of your account and they will credit the time.

So apparently it was a database find for killing too many of one mob too fast in STV that got the account suspended.

I will also lie low for a week or so and let things cool off before I continue with lvling this specific toon on the account.

As far as I am aware Blizzard never give specifics out regarding bans, it's just the fact of when you appeal and say you were hacked they normally give your account back. So i smell porkies :P
