Account Action: 72 Hour Suspension
Reason for Action: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Use of Third Party Automation Software

This suspension happened because one or more characters on this account were identified using an unauthorized cheat program, also known as a ""hack."". These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing the account instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member, or leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/antigold.html

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

For any disputes of this action or further information on Exploitive Activity, please visit the Exploitative Activity FAQ and contact page here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/exploitfaq

Whats up with this? looks like a lot of people got it today.
I was did run the Grind bot for a pretty long time tho, last night starting at around 1:00 am till a little after 3:00 pm.

1 question though, after my ban is off is it still safe for me to run this? or should i wait a while.
I was planning on BG botting for the AB weekend this weekend.

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? HB 1.9.5.5

2)If so, when was the last time?: earlier today

3)What profile were you using?: Pookie's 24-56 Alliance V1.312

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname:

5)What plugins are you using?: Jumpy, King Jump, Time Till Level.

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Today i ran it for about 13 hours.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: None

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No

Yeah me too earlier today.. What were you doing when you were smacked?

I was using a Grind Bot profile that i had been using for a few days in a row for good length of time each time i ran it, wasn't safe on my part to begin with but it had never happened before.

Im in the same boat. Looks like its either Quest botting or nothing now

What about the BG bot? my ban gets lifted friday, and that's when the AB weekend starts and i wanted to bot that.

Can anybody confirm if it would be safe for me to BG bot right after my ban is lifted please?

It's a roll of the dice really, you've already been warned with the 72 hr, if you dont care about losing the account then do whatever.. just be wary, you've been spotted once, they'll probably watch the account to follow up, I know I would if it were me.. Bots are never -safe- there will always be risk to using it, even though some very lucky individuals haven't gotten caught yet *touch wood*

Would they like watch me forever now? or could i wait a week or 2 and be safer like before i got the suspension?

And would this only be detected by a report? because i did occasionally like open my friends/guild tab plus i had jumpy on witch randomly jumps or whatever... I leveled a warrior from 1 to 39 using the same profile like last week and i left it going for at least 8 hours over night for like 2-3 nights... i just don't get how blizzard could detect this.

Nobody whispered me, and i checked the logs for a few key words maybe somebody said in /say or something and i couldn't find anything... although i didn't really know what to search.

I really think some of you are idiots. If you have an account, that got suspended, and is released. Either A: Dump that shit like its a 15 year old with a fake id B.) Bot it like no other because you don't give a shit and are getting rid of the gold anyways. or c.) be a good damn little wow player and dont fucking touch the bot so you can keep that account forever lol.

^This *filler*

the real move if you have a character on the account you want to keep make a new account and transfer the toon to the new account. that way if you get another ban on the new account its a suspension and not a perma.
