Just got 7 Separate accounts banned.

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account?: Honorbuddy - Botbase's = GB2, Archy, Instancebuddy, BG BOT BETA

2)If so, when was the last time?: 30mins ago?

3)What profile were you using?: Tony's TWH 2.0 for gb2, as well as IB (babysit always) Self made Uldum and vash gb2 profiles. and Archy was running. in kalimdor

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Priest - Ensemble. Mage- Amplify Hunter - FPSWARE, Druid - HAZZResto, DK/PALLY - by mord.

5)What plugins are you using?: Auto Detect Refreshment, Bug Submitter, Precision, Set the leader, Buddycentre, Via iphone i respond to every whisper and such.

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 5-8hours every second day or so. Rotating times.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?: 30-40?

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? Piroxbots pvptool. only on 1 of the banned accounts though.

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No

10)EU or US realm? US

Least my main with all the super geared toons and like 5million gold is safe so far...lol Funny though...its the one i bot on most.
 
Half my guild was running pirox half was running hb/gb 6 of my guild members got banned this morning all of whom were running pirox. Hb/gb as yet unaffected
 
my mate who was using pirox for fishing got banned...but i also got banned too while i was online doing a dungeon.

just curious though, are any of you going to contest the bans or just going to give up?
 
My guild is waiting for the phones to reopen before they beg/cry/bribe/hurl abuse/threaten and generally winge
 
Why don't you guys make own profiles? it boggles me everytime. If you babysit your toons with HB running those profiles you will eventually see several toons both horde and alliance following the same paths. Have you guys thought of the 3 others following the same paths also babysit their toons and report everyone they see?

i make all my own profiles, Except i do use Tony's twilight highlands one. only on 3 toons though, so i think thats hardly the case.
 
I would make my own profiles, however when i did i noticed it doesn't make that big a difference. Whenever i created one I seemed to be following about the same route some others were as well, that might be due to my laziness and just following the Routes add on while recording hot spots though ^^
 
Pirox got a banwave..
Im not sure whether if your computer is being flagged that leads to the banned of 7 accounts though..
 
Its Archa, Pirox already acknowledged that it seems, the dig site locations it was posting into custom chat were targeted by Blizz. Seems like they just ran a search in logs and banned everybody.
Some even said they weren't using it for more then a month and still got it.
 
Im not sure if anyone has thought about this yet or not. But if you have used pirox on your machine they may have logged your mac address and slammed you with the banhammer (mac style). Im not sure of the validity of this idea but its just a thought.
 
I've used Pyrox from my machine to level three toons. Stopped somewhere around january. And I'm botting right now, european server (and the banhammer has hit EU realms too), so maybe that Pyrox-Mac-Flagging is'nt quite right.

To A point I agree.. but I have had on numerous occasions had people message me saying I'm a bot and that it is obvious cause of my actions. And that they are going to report me and such. I just ignore some, others I respond telling them that I reported them to the GM for accusing me of such. Actually had one person try apologizing to the point of bribing me with gold to not report him for accusing me. ( I think he was botting or attempting to). I never have reported anyone, nor will I. But its fun to watch people cringe when they try to accuse you and you call their bluff.
 
Two of my friends who have been using Pirox for a while now got banned yesterday too. Seems like a Pirox banwave. I know for a fact both of them ran the Archaeology bot portion of it (I don't use Pirox myself so I don't know how it's set up) quite a bit. Signs are pointing towards botting Archaeology as the culprit here.

I use old GB profiles that I had started with when cata came out, I figured most people would use the handfed HB profiles, not really hard to convert the GB then add in vendor and mailbox locations from the new HB profiles posted.. but go figure most people will use the default ones, thats funny that some people see others on the same route, I've yet to see that.
