You derailed your own thread really quickly. As unfortunate as it is to get banned immediately, HB is not likely detected. They most likely had a filter of specific actions that tagged you. Like others have said, don't risk what you're not willing to lose.

paypal account
So errr.... you used the same payment method with both accounts!?!?

Here's what's happened.....

Your main account got banned for 6 months.
You started a new account with the same payment method. FLAG 1
You started botting on that new account. Since you were flagged, they were probably watching you closely. FLAG 2.
Your main got unbanned. Since you were flagged heavily, it's not unlikely that someone immediately watched you directly.
You start up your bot and do something telltale botlike. Normally this wouldn't have set off anything but since you're on the top of their "THIS DUDE MAY BE BOTTING" list, they got you immediately.

Using the same paypal account on both accounts is what got you in their crosshairs. Botting on both accounts put you on top of their list. Botting the minute you got out of a ban is what got you a permban on both accounts.

You fucked up. Now suck it up.

so sick of forum posts like this. Ive been botting non stop since ban wave, including on my new account. No bans. You were either REPORTED or you did something stupid. Nobody believes you had JUST opened wow and HB and got insta banned. Stop making stupid posts.

yeah doubtful honorbuddy is directly detected as everyone else stated, there are many of us botting daily and not going overboard on it and are fine. The moment Honorbuddy is directly detected you will see tons of forum posts about ban waves, thats why if you really want to keep your account you should frequently check the forums/do your own research.

You're stupid. You obviously did something to get yourself banned. If it was detected we would all be banned not just you.... kids these days.

Hold on there, dont be so hard on the guy. This is a very dynamic problem we face as a community, some people get the hammer for manual movement playing a CR and others bot for months in BG's and get away with murder.

I think more info would be needed before calling the guy out for doing something stupid

You have absolutely no idea
payment method has never been a "flag"

maybe you should stop swinging flags...
Using the same paypal account means using the same EMail address. Using the same EMail address means using the same Battle.net account.

If his story raises a bunch of flags to me, you can bet it'll raise a bunch of flags with Blizzard.

Still amazed at how many people are dumb enough to assume they are safe because not everyone was banned at the same time.

Just like religion, simple people will tell themselves whatever they can to convince themselves they're safe. Never been banned in 11 years until 5/13. Always running 2 accounts minimum. Since 5/13 I've lost 6 in sets of 2 and most recently 1/1. It's safe to say at this point I've heard all the conspiracy theories and tried many of my own hypothesis.

In the end, they got everyone in One wave last time. The bossland team has admitted they have no idea how. They've also changed nothing as far as flagables.

If you have any history at all with botting, you know blizzard does a collective "wave" annually give or take. Between they ban here or there and the cycle repeats. Just because you weren't pinched a few days ago has no bearing on safety. I can promise you your time is coming. It's common sense.

Took me many years to buy into it, always thought I was safer or smarter than everyone else. I'm finally converted. Your foolish if you bot anything other than suicide accounts. Most are unwilling and I understand. That means playing your main account by hand and nowadays few are capable and the ones that are simply don't find wow enjoyable. Unfortunately for the kids who had wow as their first mmorpg, this is the game you created with your generations entitlement, lack of work ethic, and desire to have something for nothing coupled with the game not being designed around time investment or effort, rather convenience and giving everyone a reward just for playing. It's much like sports teams in school handing out rewards for participation. What a detriment on society. Let's not get off topic though.

Blizzard is now going full tilt. While being the biggest hypocrites around, botting now infringes on their profit. I expected a wave prior to legion and it worried me for awhile. If I had to guess its still coming either right before, or right after. Unfortunately they got me a bit sooner. Ironically it happened the day after they charged my cc of course. That being said, I put in a request for legion and my fees to be refunded and I fully expect that to be the case.

Luckily I managed 13/13m prior to all this so I was "done" anyways.

Until the people banned begin talking with their wallets and stop re buying right away, blizzard has less than zero incentive to be more thoughtful about who and why and when they ban. You actually make them money by doing so. It's a complete win-win for them.

That coupled with the best bots only using x86 makes their job too easy. They can all but insta thin out the crowd they need to look at.

Even worse, about 20% of SBR users just got banned (roughly 75ppl). While this is a small fraction of the users compared to hb users that have been banned (tens and tens of thousands), it's still just as miserable and foreboding. They have been much safer for much longer but something has been changing. It's all but proof that not only can a cr get you banned by itself - but x64 doesn't gaurantee safety. I will say that there is no way of telling how many of those users used x64 as opposed to the x86 version, nor how many ran it concurrently with hb - it still gives food for thought.

Don't bot, learn how to use gnome sequencer at worst, or begin researching your class and slowly setting up/memorizing keybinds prior to legion. You are prolonging the inevitable - as much as it pains me, eventually one of these straws will break the camels back.

I'd like to say if all botters quit insta re subbing, blizzard would drop to 25% of its peak population, less than ffxiv players which is much safer to bot in. They would be forced to take notice.

While greed has no limits, it only takes 20k subs for an mmorpg to turn a profit. They would still be making embarrassing amounts of money, the only way to give them pause is to hit thier bottom line.

Good luck. the game has been dead to me apart from my guild and botting since mid BC when the dumbing down began and botting became commonplace. The two aforementioned kept me from other games and mediums for a long long time. I've finally been scared straight.

yeah you can use paypal only with one b.net account...
In eu u get russian accounts, paid with one webmoney account per seller.
they sell 100s of accounts each every month.
a flag to payment would cause their business to die.
It hasnt died for more than a year...but yeah your right. -,-

you can also buy keys as a gift. just because 50% of your keys are used by bots, doesnt mean blizzard bans 100% just because of your lovely flag.

but maybe you had more accs then me...dont think so...but you talk like.

Indeed you are. Since you keep botting with HB. Glad you see it's stupid.

Very clever response. I am far from it. Why, exactly, am I stupid for continuing to bot? Do you bot? Or are you just a troll in these forums?

Maybe you shouldn't make statements like that without any proof.

I, along with the rest of the community, would love for you to be able to provide evidence that payment methods don't flag accounts.
