why would you ever level 5 characters together without RAF?

and what the hell would that matter? There's absolutely no point in having 5 accounts leveling together if they aren't RAF'ed. Your basically saying you want to level at 1/3rd the speed so they don't outgear each other...That's pretty ridiculous
Gear means jack diddly shit when you're leveling up. The only thing it does is make it so it takes 10 seconds to kill a boss instead of 15 seconds. And without RAF, you're taking 3 times longer anyways. Keep in mind that RAF works for quest bonuses, too. So instead of getting 1-5 levels at the end of a dungeon, you're getting a third to 1.6 levels at the end.

I think you all miss the point. RAF increases your chances of being put under the microscope. Especially if you are not taking wild precautions to make it look like they are all 5 different machines in different physical locations... I am not saying you CAN'T RAF while botting, but it increases your risk of being caught 10 fold. Especially if you use dungeons to level. If you feel this is a bias opinion, just look over the forums for people in that sitch. It's not definitive but it is a factor, a significant one at that. Unless you have a reason for wanting to level quickly, I'd stick to having no link between accounts. RAF is used more by botters than players from what I have read. Hope this helps, cheers.

If you think RAF puts you under the radar you are seriously doing something wrong as I have had multiple 5x RAF accounts going with next to no issues until I decide its time to go D to the wall and get some gold ASAP... you gotta be a pretty stupid botter to be doing non RAF anyways as you are literally pssing away gold/real money...
One of the most inaccurate things Ive ever read on these forums. Been RAF leveling for years now with hundreds of accounts.

I agree with this completely. This is one of the most wildly inaccurate things I've read in these forums and is completely unsubstantiated.
If anything, raf leveling is one of the least likely ways to be banned. Blizzard generally doesn't investigate accounts unless they're given a reason to.they're busy enough without having to investigate this kind of thing.
In general, the less visible you are in your botting, the less likely you are to be banned. Running 5 man's in your own group is nearly invisible, unless you're stupid and do it in an active guild
You seem to think you really have a grasp on this. Your personal experiences are nothing but a drop in the bucket. If you base how well RAF works soley on YOUR OWN experiences, then you truly have NO idea what blizzard uses for criteria when banning. I have also done many RAF's without problems but I read enough and connected to enough people in the community to know that RAF increases your chances of being banned. Especially if you ONLY dungeon to level all of them. ... you'd probably think that the fact that they haven't banned your account has nothing to do with the fact that you are likely spending money on micro-transactions and such (pets, transfers whatever) and/or you simply fork over a lot of money each month. I have been botting longer than I care to say (as it would only seems like gloating) and I have seen many a ban wave and commercial bots closed down. I also read a whole lot through the banned section of certain forums. I doubt that you have anything other than, "I do it all the time!" to say, do you?

P.s. I should have been banned by Blizzard many times I"m sure, but I believe that the amount of product you buy from them and the month fees you pay also matter. If you buy mounts from the store like crazy every time they come out, and you have all the TCG cards, etc, etc, etc... they are far less likely to ban your account. RAF is simply a factor, as is the money you spend. The true decision for banning comes from an individual who you cannot predict.

... whatever. I'm not going to go through this with every person who wants to claim, I've been doing it for years. To clarify, I never said that RAF was an auto-ban... read a little more carefuly as it seems that is what you are implying.

trying to link my account, already bought battlechest on all 5 and now trying to link them after the payment is proceeded. It keeps creating new starter accounts when Im using the raf link I got from the mail... I've linked them after payment is done before, aint that possible anymore?

How would you even claim to know whether or not your chances for being caught/banned are increased due to RAF and Dungeon leveling solely, if you've never been banned? I doubt you understand what I was trying to point out here. No one person especially if they have not had MULTIPLE bots banned on several occasions, can speak of this right? This is why I said I have read enough to be convinced that it's a factor.
Wow, it would be nice if anyone offered some insight if they know something I don't but as of right now, all I'm getting is "I've done it forever now... I'm just fine!" I've botted like I didn't give a shit for years on end and they have not banned me, but that doesn't mean I'm going to go act like ANYONE can always AFK RAIDS or bot for 72 hours straight without stopping! ... like I have in the past. xP

Somehow 3 of my 5 toons is now linked, should i link the 2 remaining with each other or the 'raf leader' with the 2 remaining??
Edit: Im slightly retarded, 2 of the accounts were older than 30 days = no raf avalible.

No. You're just as a small drop in the ocean as he is, wildly speculating and believing your own experiences and maybe a handful of others'. You're also delusional if you believe the amount of money spent means anything to Blizzard, after all you can start a new account on the same battle.net and you'll retain everything bought from the store.

P.s. I come from a guild of Vanilla players and we all have spent thousands over the years on our personal accounts. Not ONE has ever been banned. This is just a single example. I read a lot. There is a reason why ban sections on forums and such ask for as much detail about the account and the situation as possible. You try and act like you know something... but you can't prove anything you are stating, so it means nothing.
P.s.s. I didn't say anything about spending a lot of money AT THE BLIZZARD STORE. So, you just seem lost to begin with. Chow....

I have been using RAF all the time on my accounts, i even RAF on the same battle net, i made a misstake while reqruiting and contacted live chat support, he looked into the problem and fixed the linkage problem for me. He also said i had alot of accounts, are you multoboxing?. I answered, yes i do and said its because i want all the mounts aswell. He just laughed.

Agamando, I noticed yesterday you decided to go through with the RAF. I'm sorry if I took away from the focus of your thread... I simply wanted to try and give my two cents. Everyone's a damn expert when it comes to TOS, EULA and bans. Yet no one knows for sure. Have a great one, see you around.
